Sleep Inn Lake Wright - Norfolk Airport

Filthy hotel and mediocre service with unsafe and weeds everywhere. Not recommended to anyone especially with families and kids.

The bedding exhibited staining, the room had a persistent odor, and the shower facilities were not adequately cleaned.

Room was disgusting and when I told staff and asked to move my room or clean it properly because we have a 1 year old, I was told that I complained too late. We arrived at 2 am in the morning I wasn’t going to walk back down the hall in the middle of the night to express my concerns so I waited until the morning.

Found looked like blood at the bottom of door jam. Couldn't dial into smart TV. Pool was closed on Monday for the whole day. The breakfast was ok. The items for sale way over priced. No bath tub shower only. No smoking rooms, hotel is smoke free.

Breakfast buffet didn't have a large variety. Room was clean but dated.

Very comfortable stay.

Rooms small

Did not like the excessive barking from the neighbors dog. Called front desk and spoke to staff about this issue and they assured me that they would look into it but nothing was done. The barking persisted most of the night! Spoke to staff again the following morning but still nothing was done to accommodate me and my spouse.

Mold in the room

It’s close to the airport The hallways all smelled like weed, my room had a musk to it, and it was damp, the lights barely work, and some of the switches were broken.

Clean room

It was close to everything. No hot tub. Couldn’t charge anything to your room. The pool closed at 8pm on a Saturday. The line for breakfast was insane.

It's definitely a dated facility, worn/stained carpets, peeling ceilings, etc. Did have to ask for a diff room because of broken TP holder, not clean shower, and had a reaction to something in the room. 2nd room was good tho, clean. The "hot" bfast was overcooked and not very well stocked (i.e. no milk for cereal or coffee). BUT - staff was very friendly and attentive, basically only reason to give it the 3 stars. With the variety of hotels in the area, wont be choosing this one again.

Excellent all the way around

The room was not very well lit. The light in the shower did not work nor did the light fixture near the window (right side of the window in room 116). There appeared to be blood spattered and smeared on the inside of the sliding bathroom door. There was also what appeared to be rust on several metal surfaces in the bathroom (shower head and rack with the towels). I did let the attendant at the desk know when I checked out on 9/1, and he indicated that he would send maintenance.

Clean room

The stay was really good, the shower did have a stain and was a little older. The pool was enclosed and the water was cold but it was really clean. Would definitely stay again
