Sheraton Norfolk Waterside Hotel

I really enjoyed the staff was so friendly

Attempted to check in wt roughly 6 pm and room still was not available. Offered to have some apps at the bar but decided. Had to ask for a different room before it was offered.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The fact breakfast had to be paid for and it didn’t even look good and they charged taxes on a totally different day.

Stayed in room 1035, room had peeling paint in numerous places, mold on the balconey, the curtain was hanging off a broken rod, the hallway had stains and the walls had stains on the 10th floor

This hotel has an amazing suite. We stayed to have a wedding at the spirit of norfolk. Staff is amazing. Valet are awesome. The manager was so nice. Eat at the restaurant, the she crab is unbelievably good. A excellent stay

The only thing I wish they would change is the shuttle service. It’s only for those who park at the hotel. Yes the cruise port is just a walk away but who wants to walk to and from the hotel with all that luggage! I would have been happy to pay the hotel for ride to the port instead of a Lyft. Other than that the stay was great.

Booked what I needed and they couldn’t accommodate me when my party arrived. It was so unorganized

No microwave in room (only one very small available in libby area), breakfast buffet was limited, and coffee only available during breakfast buffet time. Side of hotel that was less visible sidewalk and underneath one window in the area extremely dirty

My balcony was absolutely filthy with green mold everywhere There were no chairs to sit on in the balcony Inside there were several carpet stains In the hallways, there were carpet stains everywhere The pool was closed down

no self parking on premises, but not a dealbreaker

They have construction that’s kind of confusing that also interfere with parking and such.

Good location . Clean comfortable beds . Dirty carpets , $20 breakfast

Tv in the room had limited channels and kept turning off and restarting. Also none of the streaming services worked but other than that it was ok.

The staff in reception and food and beverage were incredibly warm and friendly!

breakfast: after paying for breakfast, I went down to the buffet and the manager would not allow me to take a bagel out to the car from the food bar. The buffet was not busy and I did not have time to have a seat and wait, not very hospitable.
