The Westin New York Grand Central

Not great, probs better at the Hampton Inn. Very basic, skimpy amenities, not enough towels, flat soda at the bar, awful view and noisy from the hall and construction outside starting at 4:30 am. Expensive across the board. AC was capped at 65 and it felt like 75. Hardly slept. Go elsewhere.

Still a great bed and shower. Great location, especially with proximity to the 7 line. Staff was very helpful, even though they were juggling sold out status for the UN.

The breakfast did not live up to the hotel's standards or the price—which I found excessive given the poor quality of the offering.

the room had no internet, one major light was not working, no sleepers, no bottle of water, no usb outlet, waited until 630pm to check in and missed part of my concert, and all this $500 later......it should be FREE. JUST TERRIBLE.

We have stayed at the Westin Grand Central more than five times, but unfortunately, this will be our last. The housekeeping was extremely poor. We were four guests, yet after servicing our room, they left us one clean towel for four people. Coffee and basic room supplies were never replenished. These are simple things that should not be an issue at a Westin. The service was also disappointing. Sandra at the concierge desk was particularly unfriendly and made us feel anything but welcome. What makes this experience worse is that we kept returning to this hotel because we had enjoyed our previous stays. The level of service this time was nowhere near what we had experienced before or what we expect from the Westin brand. After more than five stays, it’s disappointing to say that we won’t be returning.

Deidre at the front desk was amazing!! When we walked in the front door she was so warm and inviting. My daughter who traveled with me, thought Deidre knew us personally the way she greeted us. She was able to get us in the room without any hiccups. Once we checked out, we were able to conveniently store our baggage until it was time to leave. The room was comfy and quiet with great views. A Bank of America and a CVS on the same block, was a great amenity. I will be back

Expedia had us relocated after our OYO hotel told us to figure it out. I’m glad we got relocated. The area was great! Right next to grand central and access to the subway was easy. Great experience!
