Holiday Inn New York City - Times Square by IHG

Location It was dirty room had blood on wall and I hav a picture that I have to submit with complain.

It's NYC so everything is expensive. This was everything I needed, at a price that was reasonable. Nothing was bad. It's not the Ritz, so know that going in. But if you're looking for a reasonably priced place in Manhattan, this checks the box.

Room was clean There is a public seating space right outside of the hotel that isn’t mentioned and there are tons of people just hanging around and fighting outside of the hotel. This is not mentioned anywhere

They kept our suitcases after checkout for a few hours which was appreciated There's what could be a nice little garden area in front of the hotel BUT it's a public plaza and unfortunately drug addicts like to gather there and there were incidents involving police. The lobby is very small so it becomes crowded very easily. The carpets in the corridors need to be replaced because they smell a lot like humidity and they give the impression of being dirty. We are a family of three adults and got a triple room which they claim can accommodate four (in 2 full sized beds!) BUT the room was so small you would have to take turns to walk around, We travel with only carry-ons and there was no space for even those; they had to remain closed behind the entrance door (a fire hazard!) and only open them as needed on top of the beds. The bathroom door (hanging/slide door) was smaller than the opening (the frame) so you would have to center it as best possible for privacy. On the bright side, the beds although small, were comfortable and so were the nice pillows. Overall an affordable stay for one night but if you stay longer you may want a more comfortable room.

Location in respect to the city was fine. Housekeeping removed a bag of gifts from our room. It was next to the trash / waste paper bin. The value was a mere $14. Reception would only refund with the receipt - which was in the bag. So be wary of your belongings. Right outside the hotel entrance is a POP. Public space - which was also the local area for smoking weed and hanging out. Not nice. Breakfast was basic, not normal Holiday Inn standard. Toilet leaked at the seal on the floor, which meant wet socks.

It’s was nice one the outside and the lobby was nice The towels kind of smelt weird the staff are kinda of rude and the price I paid I thought it would be better

Pretty good location. Clean and maintained building. I didn’t like the free public space - as a visitor made me a little uncomfortable and gives the hotel a sore eye .

The staff was kind, efficient and very helpful. I wish the rate for each night’s stay was consistently the same. Our nightly rate varied as much as $200. From one night to the next.
