Comfort Inn Staten Island

Hotel was clean and staff was great. Breakfast was basic, but good. The only complaints, which are not really complaints, are that the rooms didn't have a mini fridge or a closet. The rooms were really small too.

Very clean beds are so comfortable

My bad review is solely on the comfort of the bed, which was terrible. It was like sleeping on concrete. Most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept on and I have to endure 5 nights of it. The staff was great, hotel was clean. Bed sucked!

The rate and location of the hotel were the best characteristics of my stay. Otherwise, the hotel was overbooked and the property maintenance and amenities outdated. Staff was helpful to certain extent but that was it.

Good place to stay, staff was very helpful and kind and they have a place for sit and work with free coffee, internet speed is not that good but it works and that’s something great! Would stay again.

For your safety, FIRST ASK the front desk manager to double check the room before they send you to the room. We were given 2 door cards that did not work, went back to the desk for reactivation. When we got back and opened the door, we found out IT IS OCCUPIED. We could have been SEVERELY HURT or DEAD. We reported back to the front desk attendant and reassigned a room. Front desk attendants are nice, The property is behind 2 other hotels. Room is clean, breakfast is decent, hot food included, staff are courteous. I can't provide you with the photo of the occupied room because WE HAD TO RUN FOR OUR LIFE.

The room was dirty when I came in. i called for room service and to my surprise, i was told the room service ladies were unavailable because they were attending to new clients the entire time. The room was never cleaned. I just wasted money booking that hotel.

The check in person wasn’t helpful at all, usually staff tells you how much goes on your card for a hold he did not, The room itself didn’t have soap to wash your hands. The toilet paper in the room was basically used up and the soaps in the shower were empty.

Room was to small. Also I still haven't received my deposit back from the hotel.

The building itself feels a little outdated but it is pretty clean. The rooms are very small (1queen bed). The price is fair and you get what you pay for i guess. The breakfast is ok but the fact they put the eggs and bacon in the same heating container was a real bummer.

Also, there was NO source of water, other than buying from the front desk. The staff were doing their best, but the lack of personnel put an unrealistic pressure on the people working.
