Fabulously clean hotel, beautiful room. Nothing

Nice big room and bathroom. Conveniently located . Time to get rid of the rugs in the rooms but would definitely stay there again if in the area
-
Perfect for what we needed for a, pet friendly, 1 night stay.

Breakfast area and common area clean and decorated for fall. Didn’t really like location area and apparently carpet / floor in room was very dirty as feet were black on bottom when got into the shower.

Brought my 4 kids on a mystery trip to Mystic. We stayed in the king suite with the couch pull out. The kids loved the room, it was very spacious and clean. The kids loved the pool and having a great continental breakfast with a later check out time made for a relaxing morning. We enjoyed everything.

Convenience of location. Dog friendly A bit too pricey actually.

The room was clean and conveniently located near the elevator. There wasn't much of a view, but it was very close to Olde Mystic Village, the Mystic Aquarium, and downtown Mystic. There were also several restaurants in the vicinity. Breakfast was great and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Coffee, tea and hot cocoa are available 24/7 in the lobby too and the lobby and restaurant area were nicely decorated for the fall season.

It was clean. The suite was spacious, and they had a free continental breakfast. They also are dog friendly and they give you a little sign to hang on your dog that says, Dog at Play. Cute. You also receive text messages assuring you that they are there to help. Upon checkout the front desk refuse to give me a receipt for my stay. When I ask the desk attendant, who immediately assumed I was asking for a receipt to dispute the charges, he made me feel as if it was my fault that I booked through a third party and not through the hotel which he claims charges less. I explain that I was not asking for a receipt to dispute charges. I agreed upon the price when I made my reservation with booking.com. He still refused to give my a receipt. The desk attendant said I have to get my receipt through booking.com. I said I never had a problem ever in getting a receipt upon checkout before. He looks at me as if to say that’s your problem. Then he ask why should I give you a receipt. Your account has two credit cards. I said yes, the reservation was secured with one card, and upon arrival Hampton Inn handled the payment which I made with another card. So, you are suppose to give me a receipt because the hotel handled the payment not booking.com. Then he finally gave me a printout. If the front desk attendant would have throughly looked at the computer from the start and not at me as a person of color, he would have realize what I spent 30 minutes trying to obtain was within my rights. Everything was fine up until this point and reflects my feeling of a downgrade of this hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect distance to the bridge and the hotel breakfast was delicious. I was very surprised with the watermelon infused water, that was so good. I didn't find anything to complain about.

The location and the room size was awesome. Its very good for families traveling together, especially with little kids. The pull out couch was extremely comfortable and the breakfast offered a variety of food with the menu changing every day. The king size bed in our room was like a rock. If you like sleeping on an extra firm mattress then its perfect for you, otherwise try the pullout couch. We have stayed there many time and I dont remember them being that firm before.
