Hilton Garden Inn Monterey

Location We didn’t get the room we reserved and paid for. However they did comp our breakfast and parking.

Check your door when you get to your room. Mine had a half inch gap from the wall when it closed. So anyone could put something through that gap or try to get in. I also had a balcony view - right above the garage where cars drive in. Not ok. You’d think the balcony would face the inside of the premises- pool, etc.

The person working was being totally disrespectful and lippy to my wife who requested toilet paper and new sheets because she was sick. The front desk person was completely rude to her and I'm very disappointed about their lack of professionalism!

Rooms well appointed. Friendly and helpful staff. The grounds were beautiful. This was one of the nicest Hiltons we have ever stayed in. Thanks for making our trip even more enjoyable.

LOVE that there’s no weight limit for dogs at the property. We wished we could’ve used the spa but it was packed the entire time. The room was modern and clean. It was a nice touch having my name on the tv throughout our stay.

Very clean room, attentive staff, and an great hot tub

While the staff was very nice and the location very good, I felt the property was a little worn and there was no air-conditioning in Monterey. You probably don’t need it most of the time but we were there when it was quite warm. The staff suggested we open our sliding glass door to cool down the room, but there was a wedding reception going on so it was kind of noisy to have the door open.

Staff was great and the location was perfect for the Indycar race.
