Super 8 by Wyndham Mitchell

Smelled like cigarettes and mold, dirty ac vents, bathroom was tiny and dirty we didn’t even shower. Carpet was stained and smelled disgusting. Never again.

Not a good experience dirty floor, stained couch, no pad under sheet, sheet was upside down and definitely very worn. Soap for washing hands made my hands red and stinging...might have been allergic to it, but I don't have allergies usually. Tried to get an updated room or a clean room. Said none available. He was hard to understand. Wouldn't refund because bought through Expedia, but I couldn't stay any longer. Worst room I have ever had. The bathroom looked clean, but smelled musty. Also the room smelled. No phone in room AC quit so I had to get dressed and go to desk. They were good about coming to room to check AC.

The hotel was good for what we were there for.

The property is older. The room was dated but clean. I needed a room for the night. I fit my needs.

Old and dirty

Not very clean, seems outdated and like they haven't changed the mattresses ever. Mattresses are discolored.

Room was not clean. Found an old can of sprite behind the microwave. Beds were disgusting crumbs in the seams and stains on the mattresses.

This place is not fit for man nor beast! We ended up leaving and asking for refund. Disgusting! Smelled terrible, carpets stained badly, walls dirty, beds looked slept in, I could go on and on. Did not feel safe in the least bit. We drove another hour and found a little piece of heaven. So glad we left. This place should be inspected by the state.

This was the nastiest grossest motel that i have ever stayed in. I only stayed because i was out driving to rescue my family that broke down in the middle of south dakota and i need a place to stay. I refused to get under the covers because of how gross it was but i was too tired to try to find somehwere else because i had also already paid. I slept with the lights on and left at 5am because i just couldnt sleep anymore and i got enough sleep to move on. There was mold all over my shower curtain... it was just so gross.

Room had an odor in it. Halls were dirty. Staff was nice. no coffee available

This Super 8 is in need of an update. There was an off-putting smell in the entry (mid building, at laundry area) and in our room. There was a spider or cob web in the corner of the window sill, and the sheets of one bed didn’t fit the mattress properly, and the mattress foundation had visible dust and loose hairs. We were traveling with a dog so in a dog friendly room, and only one night so we went with it.

The hotel is

The bed was fine and clean but the rest of the room was not. There was a couch that should have been thrown out, stained and worn out. You couldn't have paid me money to sit on that couch. The carpet needed to be replaced as well. Spots and stains. I know they're working on renovating this place because I've stayed there in other rooms, and they've been nice but this was awful. I arrived late and I feel like they stuck me in this room because they gave away the room I was supposed to be in because I don't think they should be putting people in this room. I'd had my reservation in place for several weeks. Also, when I came back for the second night, my key didn't work and I was on the third floor so I had to go all the way back down and go over to the desk which isn't easy because the levels in this place are kind of odd. You can't just walk to the lobby, it's up or downstairs. And they didn't even apologize. Didn't say sorry didn't say. Here you go. Sorry for the inconvenience. I'm not even sure he spoke to me when he fixed my key. So not ideal customer service. Then I went to use the pool and there's no steps into the pool. And there's no handicap chair to put you in the pool and I'm 65 years old and a little overweight and I don't want to climb up and down a little tiny plastic ladder to get in the pool so I couldn't use the pool.

Staff was good. Room was clean. Did not get to use the pool or hot tub but it looked nice.

Breakfast had lots of choices.
