One of the elevators was on a delay. 30 seconds to close door?

We went to the front desk again and told the desk attendant to cancel our stay, that we were leaving. I expect a full refund because that was entirely too much aggravation for any person to go through when traveling.

This hotel has seen better days. The rugs looked filthy in our room. The desk chair was broken, and the leather was peeling off the back of it. The floor lamp in our room was broken. The bathroom was pretty gross. The shower had the flooring all broken off, and it was rust and metal showing, and the caulking was kind of nasty. We didn’t even use the shower. How many used to be like the standard when I was growing up definitely not that way anymore. Maybe I’m getting spoiled because I’ve been going on cruises and the rooms are exceptional, compared to this the sheets and stuff we’re good but the whole room smells like bleach, which I guess is good considering the fact that the sheets could be nasty.

also this place is terribly out of date, I'm not sure how holiday inn would have their name connected with the hotel... carpets are yuck the furniture im the room terrible and way out of date, unless u just need a clean bed to lay your head in, I wouldn't stay here! Also said pool was closed, seems to had been this way for a while

It would be nice if the upkeep matched the friendliness of the desk staff. It needed much TLC and welcoming atmosphere. There were coffee supplies out upon arrival with no coffee. One of the two elevators worked at a snail’s pace. The desk chair to the room needed replacing as the artificial leather was glaringly damaged. When we spoke to hotel staff, about it, they said chairs were ordered but not arrived. The shower faucet worked opposite to the red/hot and blue/cold lines, and after taking several minutes to warm up, the hot water ran out 3 minutes into my morning shower. Staff was responsive to this concern. While it met our needs, I would not stay here again.

When you book at a third-party, they have to have a credit card to charge and I gave them my Discover card. There was a problem so they had to try to rerun it because it didn’t take then that one wouldn’t take and we gave him my husband‘s visa and that finally took. They charged us three times for a card on file room charge. So instead of being charged $50 I got charged 150 still waiting to get my money back.

Furniture are old, cleanliness not up to par. I took pictures of stuff inside the room. Never staying here again. This shouldn’t be a 3 star hotel. Worst holiday inn ever stayed in.

Overall very good. Friendly staff, very tentative. Only thing in room the heat/ac unit was set for guessing 68-70° the control panel was dead = couldn't change anything.

First pool is closed and has been for a long time according to staff, its false advertising to say there is a pool. As we were getting ready for bed we saw a cockroach. Trying to kill it we found trash, including used food dishes behind the dresser/TV stand. We were moved to a different room. In the morning, no body soap anywhere. I had a bar in my bag so tried to shower but the shower was broken. These things altogether shows a big issue with maintenance and cleaning in this hotel.

The common areas were welcoming for work. The dining options were ggod.

Only criticism is I could not get the shower working in my room 428; no way to get the water to start and nobody was at the front desk when I went down to discuss it on the morning of Sep 16.

Staff was nice The pool was closed down/broken. Elevators were broken most of the time, breakfast was $13.99 per adult over 12 just for scrambled eggs. House keeping showed up at 10:30 in the morning.

We really loved the size & style of the room, the beds were comfortable & the AC worked well & ran all night without turning off & on- IYKYK. Room was generally clean, but the grouting in the tile in the shower looked dirty, although it may just have been stained. More disappointing was the deferred maintenance throughout the facility. The rug had worn away from the tack strip and I stepped right onto it and cut my heel - very painful and avoidable. They did send someone up right away to take care of it and he was very helpful & kind. Secondly, the tv had bright spots that hindered viewing. We asked to see if it could be replaced 3 times and 3 times they told us yes, but never came. The next day the manager explained that they were awaiting new tvs, but the staff the night before never said that or we would have understood & stopped bothering to ask. There are so many areas in the hotel with thread bare carpet, wavy/lumpy carpet, peeling veneers, stains and general disrepair. The coffee maker in our room did not work & when I went down to the lobby for the coffee they had available there, the dispensers were empty. A kind employee said we could get coffee from the paid breakfast area, but those too were empty. The bar was a bright spot following a long day and we went there for a drink, but they only took cash (which seems hinky to me) & inconvenient as we did not have enough cash with us. Could be so much better with necessary maintenance & attention to detail.

Room was not clean, specifically the bathrooms. No water in the shower at all. The room has a bad odor coming from the rugs. They need to clean the rugs. One of the sheets was dirty. As positive I can day the bed was comfortable.

Multiple issues around the hotel. One of the elevators was out of order and the one that did work shook pretty violently when it got to our floor. There were no electric chargers, even though it was labeled on the website. Our room phone didn’t work. The staff were very polite, but not very helpful when we brought up an issue with our shower (ended up being user error). Not the worst place to stay, but wouldn’t go back.
