Fairfield Inn & Suites Memphis I-240 & Perkins

The room was not clean. There dirty towels in the bathroom when we got there. We requested to clean the room for our second day stay, but it was not done. I had to come to the receptionist and get clean towels.

Had to change room as shower door was dangerously off its track

Laid down and smelled urine. Started pulling sheets back and there was a wet urine spot on the mattress that was covered by a clean mattress protector and sheet.

The room had the smell of it being a smokers room and the tv never worked the duration of my trip. The bathroom door was too big and wouldn’t close so therefore you couldn’t lock it. Besides that, the pillows were comfortable and the water was hot.

The room was too warm, there was no TV controller in the room, and a light bulb burned out.

Cons: first room they sent us to someone was in there this is at 12am and they said someone checked us in although we made a note that we would arrive between 12:30am and 1:30am. (SUPER UNSAFE AND SCARY) Second room smelled like mold soooo badly we had to open a window. At 7am the fire alarm went off for 20 minutes straight come to find out it was burnt toast, but we smelled smoke on the third floor. Lastly to get into the property they treat it like security you have to have a reservation to get in. Super annoying that late to wait at a gate to get in.

Make this spot a last resort pictures on web are not true my room was infested with ants and they did change room but then no lights in room, outlet coming out of wall.

The breakfast was great! The selections offered were beyond my expectations! The printer was out making a paper receipt impossible. They don’t accept cash payments which I thought was odd.

Not what I expected from a Marriot branded property. The only good part about it is that the parking lot was fully fenced in. Knowing what I know about memphis, this is not a good area but not really bad either. Room was small, the hotel smelled bad, roof had water damage, AC did not work well, and amenities were not as good. I would stay again but only out of neccesity.

Walked into lobby with trash on floors, the elevator had trash on floors that stayed there all three days of stay. Heard gun shots at night and was woken up at 7:45 am by maintenance wanting to clean the air conditioner. The toilet also stopped up the first night.

The hotel is ran down should not be called a Marriott. Room smelled like mold and was super humid. The grounds were not maintained. Was in a horrible part of town and the security doors were broken and would not lock. Had cigarette butts and trashy

Asked to have the sheets changed after the third day, again after the fourth. Requests were never honored.

The first room they gave us smelled like mildew. The 2nd room had a slight smell of mildew but it was not overwhelming. It waes gated and when we returned it tookus 10 min to get in the gate because the front desk clerk was on break and did not buzz us in. Your hotel card does not work for the gate or any other day except your room. Storm hit and power went out adn they offered no solution except to leave without a refund in the middle of the night. Horrible experience.

No electrical outlets on either night stand. Had to charge phone in bathroom. Lots of neglected maintenance issues like broken tiles, dented sheet rock ,etc. Looked like there was mold behind the toilet
