We arrived to find a hotel and surroundings that resembled nothing like the pictures presented on the website. It sits on a 4 lane highway and next to many noisy commerces. Nothing shown or mentioned in the photos or text on the website. The maid was in the parking lot hanging guest's towels on a laundry line, IN THE PARKING LOT. We did not even want to see the room at that point because how else can a prospective tenant know what they are renting in advance if the photos of that property are so decieving?

Beware! No ac unit in the room! BUT you're a 1/4 mile from the ocean so it's not needed, just open up the windows! Easy check in and out, no issues. Room was clean, beds were ok enough to get a night's rest in. Close to everything, and one exit away from target if you need some last minute or emergency items. About 10-15min from Monterey and 5min away from beach access....Food is also close, I suggest trying Daddy's diner nearby!

The hotel does not have air conditioning and only has a fan in the room. The hotel is very old but is kept clean and it does offer a fridge and microwave. The shampoo and conditioner was in plastic packets and cheap. This place is overpriced.

Overnight stay. Staff was friendly but the rooms are very outdated.

Nice and quiet. Clean I would definitely stay there again.

The property was old but we'll taken care of. We check in about 315 pm and our room was still not done being cleaned, and we weren't able to get settled in until til about 330. The bed was on a metal frame which was on top of another metal like box, so it made noises everytime we moved. It wasn't too bad, but I won't stay there again.

Room & property was very clean. Plenty of free parking at the hotel. It was in a good area & was exceptionally quiet. Nothing really, just the price due to it was Labor Day weekend.

Value priced stay near Monterrey during Labor Day weekend when prices are much higher in similar places nearby

Location, especially for a busy weekend, Labor day. Closeness to the highway. Room was simple but clean. Opening windows on both sides allowed for a nice breeze to cool the room off, leaving the need for AC not noticeable. The room I had had a sagging bathroom door which didn't let it close fully unless you "carried" into place. The shower door also didn't fully close, so morning showers ended up with a wet bathroom floor. Leaving the windows open (needed for cooling and ventilation) left with early morning car/street noises, we had the room closest to the road, so other rooms further back might not suffer from this.

To be honest, I really didn’t like anything except maybe that I can park right in front of the door. From the moment I opened the door, the room smelled very musty, window screens are ripped, the beds were very squeaky and uncomfortable, the carpet really needs to be replaced. I did not want to walk barefoot in there, the bed still has ripped plastic on it that could be seen, the bathroom did not feel clean to me, there’s no air-conditioning and the fan really didn’t help too much. THE SHOWER WAS THE WORST PART. IT WOULD GO FROM HOT TO COLD ON YOU CONSTANTLY. WE HAD HORRIBLE SHOWERS I was just really disappointed. Even though I only stayed for one night, I paid nearly $300. That’s crazy.

Older motel but well maintained, worked out well for a race weekend
-
Simple quiet place. Perfect for what I needed.

Convenient stay near the highway. Very spacious room & were able to park right in front of room. There was no hair dryer but went to front desk to ask if they were provided and was given one to use! An older hotel but worked fine for the one night

Right around the corner from a good food truck and liquor store you can't beat that.

It was a nice room. But no air conditioner. But the cool breeze was nice. The toilet lever did not work. So we took the back lid off and pulled the chain. It was a little pricey for the condition of the place . But it served the purpose to get some sleep to be ready for the next day’s adventure.
