Room was newly renovated, shower was very nice. Lots of room for a couple, nice king size bed. A bit noisy with renovation still in the progress.

Nice hotel with clean rooms. Big open space for parking.

Ok stay for 1 night in the future I would stay in Carmel

I wish the breakfast had tasted better. A better meat option, or even a higher-quality sausage, would make a difference. I understand the need to manage costs, but the guest experience matters too. Improvements like these would make me more likely to stay at Best Western again.

Overall it was in a great location from the two places I wanted to travel to. The room was decent for the price. My main issues where the sheets had a few stains and the room wasn’t properly swept was a little dirty. The bathroom is very tiny hard to get in and out of and I’m petite. Other than that it was ok. The breakfast wasn’t bad they had the basics waffles,eggs, cereal, oatmeal and yogurt was always completely stocked big thumps up to the lady who made sure that no one missed out.

For us having parking,microwave, mini fridge and working ac/heating system is a plus. We can tell the hotel is or recently had some upgrades done by the left over blue tape to cover some areas,the smell of recent paint work and some newer furniture. Something can use some improvements like maybe another trash can in the room not just the bathroom, towels, internet but overall it was not an unpleasant stay we enjoyed our time here. At night was quiet,plenty of parking.

Staff was friendly not helpful Showerhead was broken and caused a leak reported it and was not cleaned up or changed until we got back after spendinding the day out

The staff there were kind and friendly but the room however was not “clean”. There was dust on the floor around the room and in the sink. The tv controller was not functioning properly and we had to press the buttons really hard for them to work. The hair dryer in the room did not work at all, I should’ve brought my own 😭. The breakfast? It was okay, basic stuff…. Also, if you are looking for a quiet nice night of sleep this is NOT the hotel for you. Being right next to the freeway meant noisy cars passing by all night. I won’t recommend and will not be staying here again.

The hotel is a bit run down. They need to do some updates. The breakfast was nice. It’s expensive for the type of hotel.

The location is great, close to the ocean and not far from Monterey. The hotel is a little older, but it is very well maintained, and you can tell that the staff really takes care of the property. Our room was very clean, smelled fresh, and the beds were comfortable. We also enjoyed the breakfast, and we really appreciated having coffee and tea available throughout the day. That was a very nice touch. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again!

Affordable, clean & updated rooms with microwave and refrigerator, large TV in room, breakfast available, and close to Walmart and Marina beach. Very small bathrooms. The bathroom door should be removed as you can barely fit in tiny space to get to toilet to open and close the door. This is a handicap concern. Sliding hanging door should be placed to separate bedroom and bathroom areas instead. Low short toilet. No shelf in shower to place soap. Hotel staff only harassed my guest and I as we packed our breakfast food to eat in the room, and even when we decided to eat food outside in patio area to calm situation. The hotels policy is that you can only eat their provided breakfast food in the dining area only. This is due to guests placing food in ac units in damaging them and to control large amounts of wasted food in rooms. Larger trash cans should be in placed in rooms for waste. The next day we didn't eat the Hotels provided breakfast. Instead, I microwaved eggs and sausage for breakfast we purchased from Walmart.

The bathroom was terrible every time I took a shower the water would spill out the shower, when I asked for towels to dry the floor the person in front told me they were booked and didn't have any at that time. Not sure if all the rooms were the same but I had the worst room ever.
