MainStay Suites Madison Airport

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! Very quiet, clean, and loved the room layout. Continental breakfast was great and my kids really enjoyed the pool. It is in a quiet and safe location as well! Will absolutely stay there again in the future!

Amazing staff here, seemed pretty clean and safe. They have a cabinet of things from you can borrow to cook with, which is cool. It was easy to get to all sorts of places in Madison and the surrounding area from here. We were able to cook in our room, which helped save money. We did eat breakfast here every morning and my Celiac husband never got ill. We’d stay here again.

Good location, nice suite with good features,

They need to clean out vents or air rooms out by opening windows. Was a little musty smell. i opened window first day and left. open the time we were there and most of musty smell was gone by second day.

Clean quiet accessible...my go to place for the hospital and airport. I feel safe traveling alone here. Highly recommend

Exceptional

The staff member at the desk was very nice and polite. The room (301) was disgusting. The brown carpet in the room looked as though it hadn't been cleaned in years. The room had a stale smell to it and I didn't want to touch anything in there! I checked out of the room immediately, not even 20 minutes later! That particular room is also a handicapped accessible room, which I had not asked for but was told they didn't have any other rooms. They charged me over $600. for one night and refused to refund my money when I complained about the condition of the room causing me to loose the money because I refused to stay in such a nasty room. Please beware!

Musty smelling room

Room layout was very nice, having a sitting area and bedroom. Since it wasn't completely full my mother was able to check in early and have a room nearby ours. Windows could open for fresh air, and the AC we could adjust to our wishes. The breakfast was OK and I don't really hope for more. The options in North America though pale in comparison to Europe. Having a full mini kitchen was very nice, although someone before had cooked fish in our room and we tried to get the smell out, without much success. It wasn't a deal breaker however.
