Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Madison East

Good location. Breakfast was always running undercooked eggs and our toilet quit working a couple of times and we had to take the cover off and fix.

Stayed for ironman 70.3 Wisconsin and it was perfect. Nearby olive garden for carb loading too. Free breakfast top notch for my family. Very good stay

Front desk staff were polite and accommodating. Breakfast was average at best. Large room but could use some upkeep. Mold on bathroom walls and weak shower head

Our only disappointment in this last stay was that breakfast was not ready. Weekdays, breakfast opens at 6:00 am. Not this time. Wasn’t completely available until even after 7:00 am. Only on Saturday and Sunday do they open at 7:00 am. And this was a Friday. Even the coffee was lukewarm with little to no creamers available. I believe someone called in sick. Otherwise… always a great stay!

2 issues. The ability to enjoy breakfast was overshadowed by the lack of help. Garbages overflowing, food unavailable and not restocked, tables with stacked dirty dishes. There was still an hour left to the breakfast hours, so very disappointing. Also, the internet (free WiFi) was not functioning well. The entire time we were trying to watch shows there was buffering. Not relaxing. Would not recommend staying here for the price.

Finally, woman from adjacent Marriott came over to fill coffee, decaf, refrigerator, waffle mix, and bacon, but no eggs. My husband asked why they did not send guests to Marriott next door. The adjacent Marriott was a pay-for breakfast, not a pre/paid, so she did not know how to handle that and had no authority, she said, to have guests go next door. Lots of guests were put out. In over 30 years of Marriott stays, we’d never experienced this.

Our reservation was incorrect. We showed our receipt but clerk did nothing to remedy. Not helpful at all. Next morning, most of the breakfast items were not available. Again, staff person was not helpful at all. Never staying here again.

Had a nice stay with two small children. The pool was nice and workout area looked nice. Good breakfast in the morning with lots of options. Our first room has stains on the sheets and they were very quick to switch as to a different room

Room was clean, easy to get to. Only stayed over night headed home from a trip so I didn’t use amenities. Breakfast was ok. Beds are hard.
