Breakfast was good

Check in was simple and the young lady working was very helpful and accommodating. We checked in a little early and she helped us get in our room sooner than expected. Clean and spacious room. We were facing the road, so traffic noise was a bit of an issue, but not bad.

The bed was comfortable and breakfast was great. Park was close to the room that was a plus for my husband. Not enough channels on the tv. The air was stale. Probably needs to change the filter.

The staff were very kind and accommodating when we arrived before our check in time. I will have to say the pool left a lot to be desired, the hot was in disrepair, and the pool desperately needs to be resurfaced and repaired. All in all, though I will continue to stay here because the remodeling that they have done has been quite nice.

The first room they put me in smelled terrible like mold and urine mixed together. I rolled with it for a couple of days hoping it would dissipate, but the smell was actually waking me up at night. The second room smelled mostly better, but the toilet wouldn't flush and kept backing up- so I couldn't use it. The solution after I said something at the front desk? A plunger left outside my door. It didn't work but it did splash toilet water all over the floor, which I then got to deal with while I was trying to get ready for a funeral. After several hours, the toilet still wasn't fixed. When I returned I checked out two days early and booked at a different hotel. Requesting a refund was useless. Expedia offered a $50 credit to my account and the "property manager" at the hotel wouldn't respond (that is if expedia actually contacted them in the first place) so expedia said they wouldn't give me a refund. The smell alone was bad enough to get the board of health involved.

Our flight was delayed several hours and we landed at the airport a little before 2am (check in stops at 2), I called before boarding to let them know and they were super kind about it. I also called when we landed to make sure they knew we were still coming. The lady at the desk was so kind and even changed our room to an indoor room after noticing it was a mother and daughter traveling (no idea what the crime rate is around here, but it felt nice that she cared). The ONLY reason it doesn’t get 5 stars all the way around is because it is an older building and you can tell, despite the upgrades. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn’t work and there was a mild mildew smell. But I am from Utah and we have no humidity. None of that was a deal breaker for me. Would definitely stay there again!

The Extended Rooms were not attached to the main building. To get to the rooms was a maze to find the extended area. Also, there's NO carpet in the extended rooms.

There are nicer hotels just a few miles more down the road.

Booked bc rating said 8+. Definitely not. Disappointed the hot tub was coved with crime scene tape and appeared to have been inoperative for a very long time, by the amount of growth in it. Probably with no hope for repair. Tiles off pool everywhere but still usable. Poorly maintained and pictures on booking site are very misleading. Unfriendly front desk clerk. Trash cans full and smokers pole out the back entrance overflowing. The Asian restaurant on site was great, clean and good. Beds comfortable but pillows were flat and undesirable. Room was clean. Breakfast was adequate but no good coffee creamer.

The location was convenient. Customer service was kind. Pool was out of order. Breakfast was good though. Over all it was okay.

The first room they put us in was so musty and the hair dryer bag had mold growing all over it. The second room wasn't as musty but the bathroom door didn't have a latch and woukd barely stay closed. The faucet in the tub/shower was bent and would not fully divert the water to the shower head and was extremely loud. Bathroom exhaust fan did not work. The towels had hair all over them as well. The mattress didnt have any bugs so that was a plus.
