Great location.

The restaurant on Saturday night only had one staff member to handle the bar, take food orders and deliver food. Waited almost an hour to get our food. This experience was not good !!

The staff and cleanliness were great but this location sorely needs some modern upgrades. You can tell it was once a BEAUTIFUL hotel. It has good bones. The entry and view from upstairs are beautiful. But the hallways and rooms are pretty dated, chipped paint, etc. Idk why but elevator 1 smells a bit like pee.

Grout in the bathroom. Left a tip for the cleaning crew came back 5 hours later and the room was not cleaned. Empty glasses on the 2nd floor tables. Plants dead at the front door.

The stay was great. The only note I would have would be to make the breakfast complementary as it was not really more than what most hotels give for free.

My room had a sweaty smell to it and the wallpaper/paint was peeling in several spots. The shower also had no cold water which was a tough way to wake up.

We have stayed at this property in the past and liked it. However this time the Appearance right from the start was unsettling. Driveway in poor condition. Carpet loooks old and warn. Our air conditioning fan rattled all night. Entrance door to our room kept sticking. Very surprised for a Marriott.
