Food was not great but fine

The room was spacious and squeaky clean. The ocean view was spectacular. The bathroom was super clean, with a Dyson hair dryer. The massage at the Spa was amazing! The food at TAIKUN over-the-top! This second time was even better than the first! The common areas were very well maintained, with fresh yellow roses and orchids on every table. The valet was very polite, and the front desk was very helpful, explaining all the details. I’ve stayed here many times already, and keep coming back.

The room is small, I got a side ocean balcony view room, the balcony is very narrow, and dirty, and the room inside even no a desk, I no space can put my laptop to work, bathroom there's no bath tub, only a shower, the shower room we saw hairs left on the wall before I used, feel so bad.

Disappointing room service and housekeeping. The fridge was completely empty on arrival, the duvet was dirty, and staff brought the wrong items when we asked for snacks. Housekeeping failed to restock bathroom amenities like shaving gel or a toothbrush on day two, and they put the same dirty duvet back on the bed instead of replacing it. We won't be returning for our next business trip.

Loved the location and amenities! It had everything we needed. Beach was beautiful- I could watch the surfers all day long! You have a shuttle that takes you to the beach if you don’t want to walk 2 minutes :) and you can request them to set up the chairs and umbrellas, get boogie boards. I find it a very nice add-on. Staff was beyond attentive!! Food at restaurants was very good! You almost don’t need to leave, but you do have a gorgeous area around so it’s nice to venture off to San Clemente or Laguna Beach. We live in Venice beach only a little over 1 hour away and this felt like a nice vacation!!
