Staff very nice, room was clean but smelled like mildew. I know they are close to the beach but if Air conditioner maintained properly and room updated it wouldn't smell. It just am older property. We were upgraded to a full view but the window were permanently closed and dirty so you couldn't see out window or air out room. Just a very old property needing a lot of upgrades . Staff very nice and helpful. They didn't have a pool but you could use the pool next door at the Hilton. Did not eat there so I can't say anything about their food.

I booked a standard room and was given a room for a disabled person even though my husband and I are not disabled. Front desk said that was the room I booked and since I had already paid for the room, I kept it. Upon entering the room there was a musty smell. When I showered, the water flooded to the front door of the room. Which explained the musty smell. Told the front desk about the flooding and was given 3 bathmats to "fix" the problem. Kept my slippers on in the shower and only took them off to sleep. I didn't know how clean or dirty the carpet was. There was also no door to the bathroom, I can understand how a door would hinder someone in a wheelchair. However, being there was no bathroom door, the toilet would be now facing the front door to the room, which made it unsettling to use due to the lack of privacy. The pool was unavailable due to renovations but that wasn't a problem because the town was waiting for an oncoming hurricane. The hotel is close to the airport and it does sit across a mall with many shops and nearby. There is also a great eatery next door called Tante's with really tasty food. Overall it's a good hotel and cost wise it's the cheapest. Just double check what kind of room you book. Don't get the "accessible" room unless you really need it.

Booked a sea view room, and was shown two rooms which had a tiny lateral seaview at the very most. Corridors smelled of urin, so I didn t take the room. Asked to cancel the booking and was told to cancel through booking.com, as the frontdesk couldnt cancel. Which I did. However the hotel then rejected the request for cancellation by booking.com and insisted I pay the full amount. whats more: If one looks at the architecture of the hotel, it becomes clear that a full seaview is impossible from any of the rooms as all windows run in a 90 degree angle to the sea. The hotel should be taken off the platform.

Clean room, awesome staff, loved the breakfast buffet. I wish you could have a bench out toward the parking lot for us smokers to sit down on.

It worked in a pinch, roads were closed to the other side of the island so didn’t have much choice. But the hotel was just ok, all the doors leading out to the beach could not be used to get back in so you had to walk all the way around the building. And the $50 extra for parking for one night was a bit much!

Rooms were basic but comfy, with a great shower. I would say a bit on the small side with not many extras. Breakfast was pretty good. Definetly the best part of the hotel is being by a mini beach which we very much enjoyed swimming in. The relaxed outdoors bit and egg chairs were also an added bonus. I was disappointed that the pool was closed and we had to share with the hotel next door, we didn't end up going in the end. It's great that the hotel offers a shuttle but unfortunately calls didn't work in the US for us as we are from the UK so it would be useful for there to be another means to get the shuttle e.g a way to contact from the airport or if there was a whatsapp number you could ring as I imagine we won't be the only international visitors. The room was nice but i do think the pictures were quite deceptive making it seem a lot bigger than it was, the pictures we saw also included a bath and more kitchen facilities which we didn't have. Perhaps we booked the wrong room but it would have been nice to have the bigger one as it was our honeymoon.

booked with points. 100% worth the stay!

Staff were friendly we enjoyed our stay

room is old, dirty, and small. Very limited lighting; no hot water (to use for coffee or tea). The carpet was disgusting. No bedbugs, but the mattress was completely ruined. The front desk staff were very nice and helpful. Really, there's not much they can do with the facility. I understand the price is high in that area, but ... I wish I had chosen something else. I swear the overall rating score on booking.com dropped by 10% after I booked here. I would not book a hotel that's lower than 7 points.

Beautiful property on the water, close to the university and airport. Perfect choice!

We had reserved a room with 1 king bed. Hotel said Expedia had overbooked and all that was available was 2 twin beds. Hallway carpet was dirty, dingy, and stained. Room was small, bathroom was cramped, toilet was small, had to be to fit into the small space, shower water was just warm. 1 metal chair at the desk for seating. Had to do the "sideways shuffle" to move by the bed, and I need a cane to move around; not an easy task. The 1st night the AC tripped out twice after 11pm. Had to call maintenance for someone to reset it from outside. 2 nights later, after midnight it tripped again. We were told no one from maintenance was available so they brought us a fan, in 85 degree heat! The next day the AC was restored but no adjustment as to temperature or fan speed could be made by the remote. The windows which opened had no screens. The place reminded me of a "flop house". Will we be back???? HA!

Convenient access to north shore beaches. Room was small but clean, dry, no insects, perfect climate control. All the staff were friendly and helpful. It was nice to have laundry on site. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton if you book this place. I didn't spend much time at the hotel but for my purposes it was totally adequate. The view could have been better. I booked an ocean view, but really this one had a view of the courtyard and only had a sliver of ocean view (see photo). I had a better view of the industrial AC unit placed outside my window. The room directly above me probably had a better view. The second floor rooms also had balconies but the first floor rooms had no balcony or direct access to the courtyard, which would have been nice. Instead to access the courtyard you had to leave the room, walk down the hall, and use an exit-only door which did not let you back in even though there is a card reader, so you have to walk all the way around through the lobby to get back to the room. I don't understand why they restricted access like this. Also, as you can see from the picture the window was not clean at all, or maybe has some moisture damage but either way it was not the case for all the rooms so I feel like they could do something about this. If it can't be improved with cleaning it would be worth replacing the glass.

Small but clean rooms, no in-room microwave, tiny fridge, but nice hotel, nice grounds, lots of kid-friendly games & activities, on the beach! Great budget place to stay, especially with family. DON'T take a cab to get here! It is less than 3 miles from airport, but they will screw you-the-tourist over! i.e. won't take c.c., requires cash (with no fore-mention), AI and uber searches range from $13-19 and our cabbie said $35 minimum after delivering us!!! It was very late, I was tired, didn't ask ahead of time. Just don't use Maui cabs! They suck. I'm sure with paying cash there was no mention of this ride at all...any IRS agents reading??? Under the table payment, we never existed, I'm sure.

We booked last minute, needed something close to the airport. It's outdated, could use new carpet, but it was comfortable and clean. You can walk outside and sit on the beach. Staff were very friendly.
