The room was clean, a lot of conveniences, everything was good

Only place to stay in Juneau. Kitchen grocery across street. Short walk to town
-
The property was a nice place but it really needs to have a good update

The staff was not nice. Brad at reception was rude. No help, we had to make our own beds and place bed sheets. The apartment wasn’t clean. Very expensive. I think they know they get money easily from cruise passengers so they do the bare minimum. The ONLY good staff was a lady at reception at night, I think her mama was Delilah, or something very fairytale exotic name; she was wonderful. NO AC, so it was warm. Washing machine in apartment. Good when traveling with kids.

Location, free shuttle, comfortable It could have been a little cleaner and more updated

The hotel itself was a bit down at the heels. Yes, it has a kitchen, washer and dryer, and a sitting room which can all be very handy. The staff was generally helpful, except for our rather gruff greeting upon arrival that we would not be allowed in to the room until 3 pm. The hotel did not appear to have very many guests and I suspect a room was available at around 12:00 when we arrived.

The staff went above and beyond to assist us! The room was HUGE and the distance from town was a leisurely walk.

Perfect for an overnight stay before going on our cruise.

Mattress was old and needed to be replaced.

The location was pretty good, about a half-mile to the city center. A very nice ocean-side walk part of the way to town. It's a very easy drive there also. We were within easy walking distance of a complete grocery store. No continental breakfast served by the hotel. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport, ferry. This service is good - to a point. See below. The room (actually a bedroom, living room and kitchen) was comfortable and quiet. The kitchen was stocked well enough to do some basic cooking, making breakfast or lunch. The hotel is about 50 yards from the whaled sculpture and board walk to town. The cleanliness part could have been better. Part of the feel of lack of cleanliness is the age of everything. Carpets are very old. Bathroom fixtures are old. The container for shampoo, etc. was glued onto the shower wall, and fell down of its own weight one morning, making a noisy clatter as it hit the bathtub floor. The most glaring problem with the hotel is the attention paid to customer service. Many of the staff are very nice and helpful. But, the hotel staff didn't bother to notify me that I had left my drivers license in the lobby (they photo copy it and are not at all diligent on making sure you get it back) at check-in. As a result, I panicked for half a day (thinking I had lost it on the plane). I had forgotten (late flights, long day of traveling the day before) that I had had to show them my license on check-in. Late in the morning I asked them if they had found my license. The clerk smiled, opened a drawer and gave me my license. Why had they not contacted me the moment they discovered they still had my license in their possession?!!!! We took the ferry to Haines for a week. On our return, we called for the shuttle to pick us up at Auke Bay ferry terminal. Two hours later after they had taken three trips to the AIRPORT, we got the message through to them. They had the capability to call us when they missed us at the airport the first time, but instead plowed ahead with mistaken information (given by the clerk on duty, who could not have cared less about our welfare.) This review is intended as a "heads up" to the hotel management and staff. You can and should do better. Our ratings would have been higher, had it not been for the lack of customer focus by the hotel staff.

We came off a cruise so I loved every room had a washer and dryer. Bedroom, sitting room and kitchen. Near road so pretty noisy. No air conditioning.
-
We booked this hotel because it offered laundry in room. This hotel needs updating and maintenance.

one window wouldn't close fully, which was fine, the weather was good for that. Kitchen was well equipped, washer and dryer worked great. Staff was friendly and fun. Mattresses were awesome!

Manager helped out when washing machine didn't work. Thank you Sir! Broken washer in room.Torn linoleum in bathroom under washer. Not a great look.
-
Location coffee maker did not work, no daily room cleaning, security on windows the first night was absent, house keeping for fresh towels was none existant

I really liked the location being close to downtown, but not right downtown. Staff is great. The lent me a bear spray that someone had left. They also helped me out quickly when I locked myself out of the room. The suite had a washer and dryer. But, the washer didn’t really work and made me nervous that it smelled hot.
