Red Roof Inn Jacksonville - Orange Park

There was nothing about this particular Red Roof Inn, that was good. When I checked in, with a reservation, I was told that my reservation had "accidentally" been cancelled by a staff member. I then waited 20 minutes for that same staff member to "fix" my cancelled reservation, only to learn that I needed to re-reserve my room. Then I open the door to my room and start bringing in my things, and see baby roaches scurry into cracks under the bed and behind the TV. I took it upon myself to spray bleach water all around the room and in every spot I thought they could enter. I notified the front desk and asked for a mop. Because I travel so much for work, and I was tired, I stayed there. There was also a lot of loitering at this hotel, due to people being displaced and "living" there. I was awakened by people outside my door at 3 am, talking so loudly that I had to get up and ask them not to stand outside my door because I had to get up at 3:30 am for work. The front desk never apologized for the room having roaches, something I feel they should have done because they represent a household name... Red Roof Inn. The only way I would stay here again, is if it was the only place to stay. If you want a good review, I guess you'll take more pride in your establishment.

It was good. Everything my was up to my standers for the area

Nothing was good about this stay and for $72 it could’ve been better. The room had roaches the desk clerk had us waiting 30 minutes to check in as he was no where to be found drugs and loud music all night I would not ever book this hotel again

Everything was bad from the beginning. Th room tv didnt work, the a/c wasnt working, and there was roaches. I advised the lady at the front desk so she moved to me to the room exactly above the room and when i got to the room and moved everything i traveled with there was somebody already in the room. So i went back to the office and she claims she put me in a different room than she actully said!

The hotel itself was ok but there was no toilet paper in the room and the staff said they didn’t have any. I ended up finding a local store and buying some and I left it in the room for the next person. Hopefully they didn’t just throw it away when they clean the room. But where they were lacking in toilet paper, they made up for it in crackheads.

Room reaked of cigarettes and marijuana. Bedsheets were stained. Cockroaches were crawling on the nightstand. Paint was peeling on ceiling. No coffee machine. Room was at least affordable and staff were polite and professional

The first room I got , the heat did not work and the staff act like they did not want to assist to give me another room, I went down to the lobby and let them know when they did the little work to the heat to turn it back on cause. And now, what's on from the beginning, they didn't believe me, like I did something to it anyway when they gave me the second room. It had no blanket.The heat was very poor I dropped it down to 78I dropped it to 75 I put it on 80 up.Or if we eighty 85 I put on eighty two , the heat steel was terrible , no heat , so I decided to wrap myself up with the sheet and it thin covered , they put on the bed , what they call a bed spread and the guy that was working night shift, he had the NASA's attitude. The first night I was there , that was roaches , lots of them and roach powder in the room. There's a lot of drug activity going on there.\nAnd prostitution , I don't knock , no 14 making money , but find another area cause some people be trying to practice safety and they are not trying to go to jail
