WaterWalk Extended Stay by Wyndham Huntsville

Clean and roomy apartment. There is a staffed reception. Plenty of parking space. Great location, near MidCity District where there are many restaurants. There is a nice kitchen, but it is lacking kitchenware. I was staying for only a couple of days and was unable to use the kitchen. I couldn't even boil water. There is a pool, but the location of it is not very inviting. So I wasn't surprised to see that nobody was using it during my stay.

In general nice and clean in the lobby, exterior and hallways. But room floors with lots of dust bunnies in every corner and even in bathroom. Horrible smell coming from under kitchen sink like rotten raw chicken. I reported this on the way out one day and it was cleaned and gone when I returned at end of day. Had to change rooms 2nd day because TV audio not working. It was “repaired” after I reported it the first day, but still not working the next day. That’s when we had to change rooms.

This is my go to pla e in Huntsville, AL. I'll definitely be back!

Convenient and good location.

Very friendly nice staff. Manger handled my situation well and got right back with me when she talk to her boss. Overall nice place. The room wasn’t clean hair everywhere. I did clean it myself and I spoke to the manager and she made everything good. Housekeeping needs to do better. Mud out in the hall from the dogs needed cleaned up and the pool also needed some cleaning.

This place was perfect for a family stay. If you need anything Walmart is right next door.. the only complaint I had was the floor of the room was sticky.. not just a spot the whole floor.

Great location near many restaurants. Everyone was kind and helpful. If we ever visit Huntsville again we will stay here. Washer and dryer in our room. First time staying at this brand and we loved it

During both stays, I’ve had to wait for assistance at check-in, along with other guests waiting both before and after me. When I asked about the lack of coverage, the young lady assisting me explained that she was the only person working the front desk and that any concerns should be directed to the manager, Janet Duke. The following morning, I simply wanted to check out and obtain a receipt. Once again, no one was at the front desk. I waited 24 minutes before eventually having to leave without being assisted. I genuinely do not understand why hotel management does not see the importance of having someone consistently available at the front desk. Guests need assistance with check-ins, check-outs, room issues, questions, and emergencies. Beyond customer service, this is also a safety and security concern. With no one monitoring the lobby or front entrance, anyone can simply walk into the hotel without being noticed. Additionally, the elevator is extremely slow, which only adds to the frustration of the overall experience. After experiencing the same front-desk issue during two separate stays, this appears to be more than an isolated staffing problem. Management needs to address it.
