The only thing I can say negatively about this location is the only path to get to the actual hotel is on a major freeway entrance so it could get backed up and could cause a little bit of a traffic delay for your trip. Other than that it is an amazing hotel.

Staff was excellent. Breakfast is very nice. We have stayed at this hotel multiple times.

Everything was perfect. Three people working at the reception desk, which was a great start. Friendly staff. Clean, spacious and quiet room, comfy bed, Breakfast buffet was excellent! Workout room was clean, spacious. Bar was nice, with a good happy hour.

First of all, ordering room service was impossible because the QR code that was supposed to be in the room, wasn’t. Then the front desk refused to get someone to bring it up to us and kept insisting I go down from the 11th floor to get one. Then when we saw a couple of housekeepers, they couldn’t understand English. Then we go to the bar and on a Friday night, it closes at 10 pm. What the heck was that about? Then the next morning, when we did order breakfast to the room, it was awful. If this is contracted out, then Holiday Inn should be ashamed of themselves. This by far, was the worst experience my wife and I have had in all the years of traveling and staying at hotels. Please do some insightful reflection on this and do better.

Holiday Inn Express is a five-year old property on the West Loop Frontage road. High floors have a nice view but the noise of traffic is prominent; the sound level from the freeway lanes is the hotel’s only drawback.

I didn’t get my refund for the breakage fee!

Ideal base for exploring Houston area. Clean and comfortable rooms and communal areas. Very good breakfast selection. Most staff very friendly but a few not at equilibrium with their position.
