Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Hamburg by IHG

The gentleman at the front desk, at 2pm on 9/25 was not helpful. Very short, non informative on when an early check in would be available (only 45 minutes early). He kept saying "they are still cleaning the rooms." The hotel was pretty empty that afternoon, and there were plenty of unoccupied rooms. Additionally, housekeeping was cleaning all 75 room at once? We had just finished a 10 hour drive(which I called ahead and was told early check in wouldn't be a problem). We have stayed there our last 3 visits to the Buffalo area for the game, already booked a different hotel for our Thanksgiving trip due to his attitude and lack of customer service.

Best bed and pillow in town Price gouging for festival

The free breakfast was a good perk. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, but there were several hairs in the tub upon arrival and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the bathroom.

Clean room. Good hot breakfast. Very accommodating staff. Reserved a room with king bed but when opened the door it had 2 queens. Staff able to make the change to a different room. Requested 2 extra pillows at check in and staff provided them immediately. Nice size tv with good variety of channels. Appreciate refrigerator in room for our drinks. Easy access from Rt 90/NYS Thruway. Short drive to restaurants and a Dairy Queen!

The people they are allowing to live in the hotel for extended periods of time were extremely loud during the night. They were directly above me and sounded like they were flipping furniture over all night. The front desk asked them to stop it, but then said they couldn't do anything about it unless I recorded the noise for proof. I will never stay there again.

Facilities were good, as was the location. Decent enough breakfast. Staff was not trained or helpful. Still waiting on my receipt. Either they are not being properly trained or they are idiots.

I enjoyed the convenient of being so close to Highmark Stadium What I did not like about the property was having my credit card charged before I even checked in. I have not experienced that with any other hotel I’ve stayed in except Holiday Inn. It made me feel like I was going to be a no-show.

Loved that we could get it last minute!

The only complaint I have is the king size bed height is too high for a short person. I had difficulty getting into bed and I’m 5’6”. The toilet was too low too. Everything was wonderful.
