Embassy Suites by Hilton Dallas DFW Airport North

Nice staff and free breakfast.I Air was not cold. Had to call maintenance first day. Phone not working. Bedroom tv had 2 remotes, one to turn it on, off and one to see channels. Closet door would not close. Shower had more water in tub than out of shower. Had to call to get the room made. .

We us the weekends for ‘staycations’ we live in the DFW area.. So my husband and I decided months ago we would use the wonderful hotels we have surrounding our home and neighborhood. So It was Hilton-Embassy Suite as our choice- for this past weeks overnight stay. Booked ahead of time through ‘Expedia’ app (as always) and always like the upper floors because I love plane spotting- Since Embassy is less than 5 to 7 mi from DFW airport. I sent several text through A.I. requesting upper floors (had already paid for corner suite w/balcony and view). So of course wanted to make sure upper floors were available. NO RESPONSE Until 1 day before check-in, response was check with property at time of check-in. Ok no worries.. Wrong! Front desk informed me all corner rooms on upper floors HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED, (check-in is 4pm we checked in a little after 5pm.) The room assigned to us was right above the hotel’s huge kitchen VENTS, FANS & HVac, etc LOUD with blowing fumes non-stop! What a bummer! The cool night breeze I was looking forward to & jets flying over was just not to be! I hope one day to return to this otherwise nice property enjoy our stay, and write a fantastic review, as we make our way around .. beautiful DFW but this past week-end Meh!.. oh and by the way, our grandson also booked a room this past weekend and had an absolutely LOVELY stay . Lastly I signed up for rewards at front desk- and was supposed to receive a little thank-you package of sorts- still waiting on it

It is a beautiful hotel and the customer service was excellent. My room was clean and comfortable. I ordered a burger via room service. It arrived quickly and was fresh.

I really liked the breakfast. Would only ask that turkey or chicken meats be offered. Otherwise, nice stay.

The staff was helpful answering most of my questions when I asked. My stay was very pleasant though I did spend most of my time in town elsewhere.

comfortable bed, quiet, plenty of hot water, very good free breakfast, free drink at happy hour Free shuttle from airport never arrived, we called after 45 minutes and they sent one. Apparently you need to call upon arrival but that information was not on hotel website or reservations. I booked a 2 bedroom suite with I king, 2 doubles and a pull out couch for 5 and listed all 5 guests, and called and verified a few days before arriving. Upon arrival they confirmed that was the reservation but they didn't have that configuration available. Had to reconfigure the party to fit the room make-up. No sheets for pull out bed, only 2 wash cloths for a party of 5, phone out of order. What a mess.

Breakfast was wonderful. The facility was clean and easy to get around. I am an older person and would have liked a clock, telephone and a set of instructions to have been provided.

I was not aware of the paid parking . This put a big damper on the hotel stay.

Staff was extremely helpful, from the front desk to the cooks. Rooms were clean. My 2nd time staying there and plan on staying again in the future.

We enjoyed the breakfast a lot. The rooms offer nice space for families. The rooms/bathroom did not seem overly clean. There were black smudges on the mirror in the bathroom and it looked like the toilet hadn’t been cleaned. The shower was yellow. It does look a little dated as well. We were charged over double for parking when staying for only one night.

Nothing. The location was convenient. That's all. See below. I booked three rooms for my colleagues - including the 2 BR Penthouse Suite - and I was told the rooms were disgusting. Dirty, smelly, absolutely gross. They even sent me pictures and I can see stains, food (a Cheeto), dirt everywhere. The staff was preoccupied with a conference going on. Unacceptable. Plus the rate was much higher during their stay - but even if the hotel was 1/3 less money, it should have been clean. The photos on the website are a complete fabrication of the reality.

Overall very nice hotel! We had some minor cosmetic stuff but I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in the area.
