Sonesta Select Durham Research Triangle Park

They are remodeling the hotel, the rooms were clean and workers very friendly and polite. No breakfast because of the construction dust. Booking said breakfast was included.

Room was clean, staff was helpful and friendly

Nothing to complain about.

Not the Sonesta of the past

Hotel is under renovations , no bfast currently being offered . Stay was fine .

The first floor smelled so strongly of marijuana I was gagging and dreaded entering the hotel to run the gauntlet of nasty smell. And the last morning I awoke to a giant cockroach in the room stuck upside down. And looking out the window at pool that has not been cleaned in months and forest with homeless belongings the whole thing was extremely depressing’

When I asked for the corporate office’s contact information so I could address my concerns, I was then told that I could no longer extend my stay at the hotel. I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled. I expected the staff to work with me to resolve the issue, but instead I felt dismissed and as though I was being penalized for simply voicing my concerns. Unfortunately, this experience affected my overall impression of the hotel and the way guests are treated when they have a legitimate issue.

Was told please don't tare up furniture or dint smoke 3x's. No problem for me I'm responsible. When I arrived ti my room I was afraid the furniture may dry rot and I get blamed. The shower curtain was DIRTY, the floor had stains everywhere, there were 2 wasp nest on the balcony... I can go on and on ,

Contains spiritual warfare.

The room was clean the hotel staff were nice and respectful. In all I had a good time.

Inexpensive, clean, convenient, quiet

Passable

9.9/10

This was the absolute worst, after a 5 hour flight delay the guy at the desk sent ME, MY DAUGHTER AND GRANDAUGHTER to an occupied room at 3:00 am in an OPEN CARRY STATE. Then sent us to a room that smelled like a wet mop. My daughter got stuck in the bathroom because the door was warped. I had to kick out open. We booked another hotel. On the way out we saw the pool wrong was green.

My experience was pretty good and safe. Will definitely be booking with sonesta in the future

Good value, somewhat smelly inside.

The swimming pool was green and out of order which wasn't told to us until after checking in, the rooms smelled of old smoke the gels located in bathroom were filled but pumps did not work( probably why they remain filled). Staff was asleep on couch after hours. I've stayed at the Sonesta at airport and it was nothing like this one. App will not let allow no stars.

I just didn’t like how the tv lost service in the middle of the night never fixed

Spend 50 more bucks for another location. You've been warned. There is also no refunds. I repeat GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! The reviews are not false.

My room was nasty and the place smelled like cigarettes. Very bad shape.
