Holiday Inn Express & Suites Chicago O'Hare Airport by IHG

Pool was not well kept and the chlorine levels were enough that we all had the get out to get eye drops. Breakfast had cold food and the fruit basket was full of moldy fruit. Our room was bare minimum cleaned and gave the vibe not to touch anything. For the price we unfortunately will not be back.

Good breakfast.

Everything was great from check in to check out, the room was great. The breakfast was delicious. The only issue I had was the shower didn’t have enough pressure. My daughters and wife said the same thing. But we would definitely stay there again.

This is a perfect place to stay near the airport. It’s well tended, serves a good breakfast and is set up with good work space in the lobby. They gave us free parking and the desk staff were quite friendly.

Nice clean hotel

It was ok nothing special. Upon entering the room, although not cluttered but obviously not vacuumed. Crumbs, tiny hershey kisses wrapping on the floor. Empty body wash bottle in shower and only one washcloth for 2 ppl. Phone just rings and rings no answer so we had to go down and get it from the nice blonde girl. Otherwise it’s not bad. We were always out anyways.

Staff were helpful. The room was not clean. They need to vacuum the room after every occupancy and check everything to ensure that room is clean.

Clean room and clean halls. Next to the airport but the room was quiet.

If you have more the one or two people in the room it is very difficult to get towels and washcloths. They don't do a good job cleaning your room. You have to request your room to be cleaned it was not a good experience.

Exceptional

The stay was ok but we didn’t have towels they kept saying they were out our room had 1 face towel and two bath-towels it was 3 of us in the room. The morning of check out we still had to go down and ask for towels twice. The lights were out in the door way they never replaced the bulb. And there was an old soap box that didn’t come from us and there was a septum piercing ring on the stand between the beds that also didn’t come from us which led me to believe the room wasn’t throughly cleaned. I didn’t like breakfast but my friends enjoyed it. Parking wasn’t bad.

Clean, helpful staff near lots of food options & safe!

Had check in, arrived 10 early not expecting anything at all but inquiring if we could perhaps get into our pre-booked and paid room, receptionist was not welcoming and quite crass, nor were helpful to ask about missing parts of the room. For example I paid a premium price for a room that 5 people could comfortably stay in for a singular night. We were missing a comforter and when trying to inquire for one from staff; they were missing and unhelpful, so ultimately explicitly 2 people had a very unpleasant evening. The sink remained clogged and extremely slow to drain the entire experience, not only was it disgusting but easily avoidable but yet again staff were not helpful. The room is 325 please take a chance to check and fix the problem as staying in a room with those standards are a real concern. I am extremely disappointed with my experience especially when I was in Chicago for a happy experience.

The check in to this property was horrible. There was one woman trying to manage the front desk. There were several groups trying to check in. The system was saying there wrote no more clean rooms, so she had to go check them. They were clean. The phone was ringing off the hook with already registered guests calling with needs. Two guests ahead of us had an issue with saying they were registered and they were not. We stood there for an hour before we were checked in. The gal at the desk was the only person working and I felt bad for her. She was very kind and respectful. Other than that, the room was quiet, the bed was comfortable, and breakfast was good.

Very clean environment. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Parking is not an issue. Staff are very nice.

Exceptional

Very functional bed in a box hotel, very close to the airport for a convenient pre or post flight stay over. Reasonably clean. Staff were polite and helpful Noisy location and not particularly well sound proofed. Basic but functional, bland accommodation. A bit pricey for what it is.

Hotel staff was great! Room was neat but no body soap and barely any hand soap in the room.
