Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Dayton

Very poor

I did not like that they did not have a elevator just steps .The breakfast was in the main lobby that was very fare away from my room.

Convenience and privacy. Dirty,run down and disgusting.

At the ad claimed that there was handicap accessibility. In reality, there was no handicap accessibility. I had to climb 12 stairs. There was no elevator and it was very difficult for me as a handicapped person.

Everything about this hotel was falsely advertised. I have pictures & videos as to how grotesque the standard of this hotel was. I will be reporting them to the health department.

Nothing lights didn’t work ac barley got it colt no remote for a small tv stains on couch stains on sheets and much more

Staff was rude. Asked for a downstairs due to disability and put us in back and upstairs

Big room Microwave was nasty had food in it my sheets were dirty I could feel the dirt on them the patio was dirty

Nothing at all breakfast was the same thing every day Everything the property was completely dirty. People was completely. The food was trash half the rooms electronics didn’t work.

Pros- Quick check-in Friendly & Helpful Front Desk Clear directions to our suite Well lit paths & patios. Large building & suite numbers Well-kept grassy areas, pet clean-up stations Pool upkeep, outdoor chairs and picnic tables Breakfast was delicious with a good variety and fresh fruit. No Bugs- anywhere Quiet, peaceful neighbors Reasonably comfy beds, pillows. A '15 min til check- out" call Check out went smooth, we received our deposit back. Cons- Overall impression of the room- dated, shabby, visibly dirty surfaces. Ripped/ stained side chair Odor that identified itself somewhere btw moldy food & mildew Having to switch out the room keys on day 2 Bathtub/Shower looked atrocious due to peeling tile. Floors & baseboards need replaced, Cabinets could use a scrubbing, new fixtures and a finishes. The stove was usable, but didn't scream modern nor particularly safe. There was a full pizza forgotten in the oven from Lord knows when, but the stench led us to believe at least 2 weeks. The fridge stayed cold, but needed a good scrub down. BYO- cookware, cooking supplies, utensils, dinnerware, dish liquid, trash bags, pillows, TP, Paper Towels and cleaning supplies plus any shower/ hair care needs and equipment. We may stay again if needed, now that we know what to expect

The staff was friendly and close to highway Extremely sorry and everything was and outdated. Cigarette bitts and weed butt all over

The only good part of this place was the swimming pool and basketball area. The breakfast is nice if you don’t eat the eggs. They come hard boil in a packet and taste like rubber. I stayed with them with my children for about 3 weeks. Since day one I had complained that my kitchen sink was leaking. For nearly a week I had to put towels down on the floor just so nobody would fall. They came to fix it but all he did is slam a bandage on it. Not even 3 days later the garbage disposal was backing up again and the sink wasn’t the only thing leaking. Now the dishwasher is leaking through the cabinet. Tried repeatedly to get them to fix it or just move us to another room. The head manger wasn’t having any part of it. They wanted to keep asking is that the only problem???? Like that’s a huge problem. They’re more concerned with fixing up the rooms they want to and not fixing the ones that need to be. If you have kids I would not stay here unless you want to keep them right up your butt so the office won’t call on them. They over exaggerate what the kids are actually doing and that will give them an excuse to kick you out.

The room was much larger than I expected and the bathroom was probably the largest hotel bathroom I've ever been in. My only complaint was there were no cups in the room either with the coffee maker or in the bathroom, but we also grabbed a bottled water from the car and used that instead. (And we didn't ask the front desk for it)
