La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Dallas Uptown

I loved out room, it was big and comfortable for me and my family. There was nothing I did not like for the price.

There is no fitness center on this property which was on the the reasons I booked it. But with that hiccup out of the way, it is a fantastic location, clean, affordable.

Too clean and organized. Easy location. For one or two nights is perfect

The air conditioner and noise from the building were unbelievable we went to bed around 10 30 pm and the wife slept maybe four hours until some young girls started yelling and hollering at 5 AM looked like they may have went swimming the wife had to let them know there were people trying to sleep As for me I never went to sleep And had a Drs appointment at 9:30 am and we didn’t even try your breakfast and last but not least the coffee pot in the room did not work and ordering food from the room service was less than desirable we cancelled that thought and ended up eating at Denny s Will not ever use nor will I recommend your motel to my friends or family again . Thanks for a miserable night and stay I left a message on the coffee pot in the room about it not working by the way . Plus I told your clerks there were two when we checked out about the coffee pot and the noise we kept hearing The room was clean but that was the only thing I was satisfied with as well as my wife. Sleep deprivation is not why I stay and book a room in advance . Sincerely a very unsatisfied customer Herbert Hill

Good location, nice staff. There was a cockroach in the restroom and a drunk lady woke at the swimming pool woke us up at around 11 PM with loud music.

The pool looked nice The fact the the room was dirty the door was covered in dirt we pulled back the blanket, and there was hair on the sheets. There was bugs in the bathroom and when I said something to the gentleman about getting new sheets and that the room was dirty, he assured me that the room wasn’t dirty, and when I showed him, he just looked at me. We had to change our own sheets on our bed. I had to pay $120 to stay there and it was not worth it.

Beds were comfy, A/C worked great. Those are the 2 most important things to me. Ice machines didnt work. Really wanted ice

Very comfy stay - fantastic hosts & staff - delicious breakky & excellent location! Thank you for having us! Loved the ice machine and the bed was great as was the air con! Only 'tiny' negative - and this is likely an issue in a lot of places - we are non smokers & in Australia, Adelaide in particular, very few people still smoke - so while it is a non smoking room - I suspect people who stay mightn't smoke IN the room (there were a couple of other rooms with people standing by their cars or outside the doors) the smell still gets in on clothing etc... BUT, excellent air con here, a huge plus as it was hot!!

The room was clean, however the bathtub mat needed to be changed. The staff was very nice and helpful. My only complaint is that the property is more of a motel, with guests that seem to live at the property. There was a condom in the parking lot by my car. I suppose the low cost of a room in a prime location should have been a clue to me, but alas it was not. My daughter was with me (13 yo), and I would not call the property family friendly. With that said, it is walking distance to some really cool areas of Dallas and an obviously affluent neighborhood sits just behind the property. If you're trying to stay in a convenient location, no kids, and are a little bit brave - then this would work. I'd stay here again, just not with my child.
