Sheraton Suites Columbus Worthington

It was a close location to our events and places we wanted to check out. Our first room had a cockroach in it so they gave us another room and the freezer had ice cream left in it from a previous guest.

Furnishings in rooms are run down with rips in arms chairs and terrible pull out sofa bed. King size bed mattress has seen better days. Hallway carpeting is dirty

Property was nice. Looks better in the common areas than the actual room. The rooms were not clean as I expected.

I wasn’t able to enjoy the property, so I don’t know. Wow wow wow. I was in town for business. Go to check in after traveling 7 hours and setting up an event, and they say they don’t have a room because they overbooked me. They were still showing rooms through booking and so since they didn’t have a room for me, the put me in a different hotel. That hotel had bugs. So then I have to spend a mass amount of money to pay for a hotel that actually had a room for me and didn’t have bugs. Booking and the hotel massively messed up. It is not acceptable.

air conditioning didn't work, and the fridge was not working properly. Maintenance came and looked at it, and brought me a fan, he said it was working, but it was not.... he didn't speak English very good, so I knew I wasn't getting anywhere. I let the front desk know about it in the morning, but they didn't seem to be concerned about it, she did say.....sorry about that. I have stayed here before on my business trips to Columbus. I think I'll try somewhere different next meeting...

It was fine with nothing to complain about Nothing , it did th jo and no complaints.

Very clean and safe parking lot. There really wasn’t a place to sit. Outside unless you were by the front door.

My stay overall was excellent Nothing not to like

For $160 or so for one night you would think the place would be clean and not falling apart in the inside. Toilet kept overfilling(I fixed that) the towel hooks were falling off the walls and the walls by the windows were falling apart themselves and so many stains everywhere. Inside the bathroom on the walls there was hairs everywhere on the wall the doors the trim. Just gross. And the events were filled with black mold. Woke up stuffy and congestion. I took several pictures and would love to share.

All went well, rooms were decent, staff was helpful and pleasant. My only negative was tje parking lot was quite full

It was ok I felt like the hotel was standard, but required luxury pricing. I took a shower and after the shower, it must have turned on the smoke detector and for 10 minutes I had piercing sirens going on at 7 AM while I finish getting ready.

There was nothing wrong with the hotel; the room was fantastic, the property was kept up, parking was great. I did not have breakfast. I did order from room service and the food was fine. My biggest issue was that upon check-in I was told that I had to basically put down $100 deposit, that’s not the issue. The issue is that they did not tell me that if I ordered room service that I was going to be charged another hundred dollars. I ordered room service the first night the next day. I looked at my bank card to see how much money I had and there was another hundred dollars withdrawn from the Sheridan. When I called them, the gentleman that answered the phone said that because I ordered room service that is why that happened and that sometimes it happened and sometimes it doesn’t and sometimes it won’t take extra unless you’ve spent $80. It made absolutely no sense to me, but he said it was a computer thing and there was nothing that he could do about it. I think the assumption by them was that I already knew that this was going to happen. I am not a well traveled person. In fact this is the first time I have traveled on my own so I wasn’t aware of the incidental fee, which is fine. It took two days to get my money back. I just think that somewhere somebody needs to explain to people what’s going to happen with that incidental fee and that they’re gonna have more taken out if they use it. I will likely never stay at the Sheridan again just for this reason.
