Candlewood Suites Columbus-Northeast by IHG

Wonderful

Room was called a handicapped room but was far from it! The room had too much furniture and was too small for a wheelchair to maneuver. There were 3 different floor coverings (tile in the bathroom, carpet around the bed and vinyl in the kitchen area) with a bump between each. Very difficult for a wheelchair. No walk in shower. Shower chair COLLAPSED into the tub when my wife sat on it!!! If the chair had stayed up the only soap provided was behind where she would have sat. The toilet was a regular height and too low. The only grab bar was outside the tub area on the wall, useless for getting in and out of the tub if the shower chair had worked and too far from the toilet to help her get up. Overall, it should never be used by anyone in a wheelchair or otherwise handicapped.

It was clean, affordable, excellent pleasant staff, clean pool, had gas grills & eating area by the pool, restrooms by the pool, really nice comfortable beds, full size fridge in room and 2 burner stove with dishes & utensils provided

The staff, were amazing, the room, and the kitchen was spacious! Everything was clean The furniture (chairs) were a little worn down! My stay was short but appreciated and the price was good!

lo cation & staff- front desk & maids very nice & helpful hotel interior needs face-lift-- hall carpets are worn & room interiors need sprucing up; THE ICE MACHINE IS FAR BELOW standard- A 4 floor hotel with 100+ rooms inhot-humid South requires aice machine per floor-- large size ; this hotel had 1 small ice mavchine in lobby- store -- to serve all guests ; It was always empty when i needed ice both days-- the front desk lady said the MGT has lots of guests about poor ice machine & lack of enough machines ; ALSO- NO FREE breaklact like competitiors offer -- i wont stay in this Brand again - if a competitor has the free breakfast

this is not where reserved my room for the weekend so I can't really rate this hotel. but if I stay I will thanks.

Great atmosphere Toliet sits low

The pool was nice and you can do laundry on site. The only down side for me is that the rooms are cleaned once a week. You will have to get additional toilet paper, towels and take out your trash if you stay longer than a few nights. Everything else was great! I would definitely stay again.

The staff was great, the room was clean. The towels were stiff and poor quality. The hotel lobby, halls and room floors and furniture was very worn. Floors and furniture was overused and had a dirty look. Some areas of carpet were worn through.

The staff was very friendly

Quietness and no one disturbing me during my stay. My card was swiped twice and instead of adding the cost when I paid they claimed that they had to swipe again for a fee I didn't like it it sounded kinda sketchy.

It was comfortable, quiet and friendly/professional staff that always greeted you with a smile! Bigger television, sight getting bad at my age, tv a little small for the distance.
