Had a couple of hiccups in our room and maintenance fixed. I really hoped the room would have been a little better. We extended our stay and stayed at Home2Suites and our room was better there than Godfrey. Wish it would have been better based on how much we paid.

I was Disappointed with the rooftop seating at night. I wish they wouldn’t restrict their guest to seating areas

Beautiful place to stay and in walking distance of everything.

It’s perfectly placed near great shops and restaurants, with a nice, quiet vibe. Plus, the rooftop bar is awesome!

Not a luxury hotel. Good location, but unimpressive amenities. The spa was basically a hotel room (no shower). Couldn’t provide any glassware (only plastic cups?) Food and drink weren’t very good at the roof top bar/restaurant. If you are looking for luxury in Chicago, look elsewhere.

I pay for a suite I expect working door I had got locked out my bed room for a brief moment , main room door didn’t close all the way either door closer needs an adjustment and napkins in a room not even plastic utensils

One thing to note is that there are no microwaves in the rooms, but when I needed one, housekeeping was kind enough to bring one up to my room, which I really appreciated. The rooftop was also really nice and had a great atmosphere. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed at this hotel before and really liked it but it seems to have gone downhill the past few years. The rooftop restaurant is great but the quality of the room was poor. The bed was terrible. The minute I sat on it, it sloped down in the middle. The mattress clearly needed to be replaced years ago. It made sleeping very uncomfortable because I was literally on a slant the entire time. The curtains were stained and ripped. There was a plastic wrapper on the floor when I first walked in as well as debris on the desk that hadn’t been cleaned.

Love this place! It’s our favorite place to stay in the city!!
