Hotel Felix River North/Magnificent Mile

Hotel Felix is in a great part of Chicago close to the shopping district and not far from the business district. All walkable. The staff is lovely - very helpful and patient - and I enjoyed the very good complimentary espresso in the morning (and I'm a coffee snob!). The rooms are quite small, they would have been tight with two people but fine for one person. I would stay here again. The wifi was not great (maybe a result of the building being a solid old building). The small rooms.

Bathroom is clean, location is great! -Room and bed is too small -TV is really hard to use(our biggest complaint) it kept disconnecting when we were trying to air our phone, and the process is pretty unintuitive too. Wish the TV could just allow us to log in to our Netflix/youtube accounts etc - they charged us $5 /piece for half day of luggage storage on our day checking out, and the staff was being rude and impatient

Room was clean, bed was comfortable. The location is great but the room was tiny. There was only about 2 1/2 feet between the king bed and the walls so it was very cramped. No refrigerator, microwave or coffee maker in the room (there was a clothing steamer, which we didn't use, and a hair dryer in bathroom). Shower, not a tub, and new/extra towels were delivered on request. There are 3 elevators, but only one appeared to be working for the 3 nights we stayed. Coffee was available downstairs in the morning. There was a lot of street noise and sirens at night, but that may just be the city since we are used to a quieter neighborhood.

Hotel was good but was overpriced in my opinion.

The room was OK, but the bathroom needed some cleaning. Additionally, only one of the three elevators worked on the morning of our checkout. With the service staff using the one elevator and everyone checking out, it took almost 30 minutes to get from our room to the lobby.

Good location and friendly staff, but the room was small with not much space to put anything. Also, one of the elevators was broken so getting up and down was slow.

They tried to be nice and give us a room with a view but it was just to the roof tops. We were right by the elevator and laundry drop which made a lot of noise. They had two elevators but one broke and we had to go down the stairs because every time the elevator got to the 6th floor it was full. The room was really small with no dresser to put anything away. We only had one suitcase stand. The bathroom had a sink out of the wall with little places to put your things. I would not pick this hotel again.
