Amazing customer service. Very attentive. Best location!!!

Fantastic as always. Highly recommend

Property was clean. Staff was so lovely. Asked if special occasion and sent some drinks up. Overall great location and convenient. On the downside - noisy location also and difficult to get rooftop seating. It is not a bar rooftop. Flew into O’Hare and took subway and from there walked to hotel w one carry on suitcase.

The gym was great. The noise from the road was very loud.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and efficient - room was comfortable and clean...a little loud on the "city view" side.

Great stay. Great property. Historic building. Nice staff. Excellent restaurant on site.

Had a quick trip but the staff were helpful and recommended a lot of things to check out while in the city. Hotel had great amenities and was beautifully decorated. Was sad to find out the rooftop was closed on Sunday’s and Monday because I stayed on a Sunday night. But other than that, I had no complaints. Will definitely stay here again it was centrally located.

Great property only surpassed by the great staff.

Hotel was fine but it wasn’t up to par with other Pendry brand hotels I’ve stayed at. Mattresses were worn and you could feel digits from use. They should give earplugs & eyemasks to guests as drag cars race the streets allll night. There were lights in our headboard we couldn’t turn off. When we checked in they offered a house car to use, however in our 4 day span it was never available. It isn’t in service until noon and the driver always seemed to be on break. If I were them, I wouldn’t bother mentioning the amenity.

As many others have pointed out the AC in the rooms doesn’t work well enough to cool them down. A couple of the outlets in our room didn’t work and the room generally felt small and rundown. Check in was kind of abrasive and we weren’t told about morning coffee. Location was good.

I had an ok experience at the pendry. Nothing was bad nor extraordinary. I do like that it’s centrally located and the rooftop has a decent view. Outside of that, I’d stay at the citizen M. It’s literally next door and much cheaper with the same access to Chicago. I will also add that the room walls are extremely thin. You hear all the cars and parties outside and I was on the 15th floor. That’s unacceptable at this price point

Elevators are extremely slow and plumbing a bit dated. Otherwise it’s great
-
Great hotel in a great location, although it’s a little expensive for what you get. And expect long elevator wait times if you’re on a higher floor

I have to share this amazing experience I had here at the Pendry, from the moment we pulled up our trip was destined to be great. For starters the building itself displays rich luxury. Muriel at the front desk helped us promptly after entering the lobby. We arrived several hours early so our room was not ready. She checked us in and in brief conversation acknowledged my birthday was the next day. She provided a list of things to do and how to get there. One of which was the Chris Brown-Usher concert happening later in the day that my girlfriend and I ended up thoroughly enjoying! The following day after a full day of birthday activities I came back to the room to a HAND WRITTEN MESSAGE from her and the team whizzing me a happy birthday. Full disclosure I shed a tear because who does not enjoy being made to feel special on their birthday. Muriel made sure that my stay here was fit for that of a King. The view from the room was spectacular, hotel location convenient, sheets and pillows divine, and shower luxurious. On my very likely return to Chicago I will almost certainly stay at the Pendry and if you made it this far in the review you should too. Worth every penny spent.
