1. the desk perdon was not at the desk on 2 occassions and we had to wait; 2. the breakfast was mediocre and the water for tea and the juice had a bad chemical smell; I didnt taste it.

The facility, comfortable bed, handicap accessible room was perfect. Very pleased with this hotel. Kids in pool with supervision. Kids 9-14 unattended splashing watching, jumping in pool took over pool area. Hotel staff did nothing after I complained. This happen 3-4 times I told male staff who ignored my complaints.. we were not able to enjoy the indoor pool.

Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not very good but they only had one staff member working so I don't blame them having trouble keeping up. Overall nice stay.

Excellent Customer Service – Precious Made Our Stay Exceptional! I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Charlotte, North Carolina. After traveling for approximately four hours, it was such a pleasure to arrive and immediately feel welcomed. Precious, the front desk attendant, provided exceptional customer service from the moment we walked through the door. She was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Her beautiful attitude and attention to detail immediately set a positive tone for our entire stay. Precious was very knowledgeable about the hotel and our room, and she also provided excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants. She patiently answered our questions and even helped with information about the wonderful fragrance and fresh smell we noticed in the room. Customer service is extremely important to me, and Precious demonstrated exactly what outstanding hospitality should look like. She did more than simply check us into a hotel, she made us feel welcomed, valued, and appreciated as guests. I sincerely hope Holiday Inn Express management and corporate leadership recognize Precious for her gracious personality, professionalism, kindness, and dedication to providing excellent service. Employees like her are the reason guests return. Our stay was definitely worth it, and because of the exceptional service we received, I will gladly continue choosing Holiday Inn Express for future stays.
