The place was clean!

I needed to leave 1 night early due to a health problem. I had booked through Expedia and when I went to the front desk to inquire about a possible credit or refund for the one night well over 24 hours before, I was told that I had to contact Expedia and there was nothing they could do. I did contact Expedia. After careful consideration of the facts, they stated that the hotel had the discretion to efund me the one night and that they would contact the hotel on my behalf and advocate while they put me on hold. They did so, but the request was was still denied. This is very disappointing as I often stay at the property when I am in the area visiting family. This pretty much showed me that Springhill suites does not value loyalty or repeat customers at all. This very unfortunate!.

The hotel is conveniently located just off I-40 in Cary. In all my years of travelling I can now say that I have stayed at a hotel with a 100% cleanliness rating. The hotel is about 10 years old but everything looks brand new, clean and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful. We forgot a few toiletries. The desk person called a hotel across the street and they had what we needed. The room was meticulously clean and comfortable. It is nearby many casual and a few high end restaurants. The breakfast had a large selection of hot and cold items (all included in the room cost). The room temp was comfortable. Great price and would return.

The hotel is great, we really like this experience. Only one suggestion, the door of restroom can not be locked.

What I didn't like: room set up is crazy- bathroom in front of bed and the entrance into bathroom and into shower spaces are narrow and unacceptable for large people. By the way, I'm pretty small and found the space around bed, closet, bathroom limited. TV was in wrong space Breakfast: no creamers for coffee- not acceptable Not may choices for Vegans. No fruit for oatmeal. All bananas were green. Gym facility was warm. Basically, I will try to avoid this hotel or any hotel that has a bathroom in front of bed. By the way, bathroom sliding door lock didn't work and it kept opening. Fire the room designer!

We were honestly so grateful for our stay here. This was our first time staying at this hotel, and they were so accommodating to my family, especially with the size of our family. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and we had plenty of room. Even though it was hot and muggy outside, the AC was amazing, so coming back to the room felt so good. The staff was also so helpful and so nice to me. I really appreciated that they allowed us to use a cart for all of our luggage because that made getting everything to our room such a smooth transition. They also made sure we had enough room keys for our family, which was definitely a plus and made things so much easier for us. The location was great too. We were close to so many restaurants and things to do, so we were able to enjoy different activities while we were in town visiting family. The only bad part was that I wish we could have stayed longer! We would definitely stay here again.
