From the moment we arrived to the moment we left our stay was awesome. All staff were courteous, kind and helpful.

Good I've stayed there twice before when I booked again this time they never told me they wasn't accepting my kind of card anymore then when I got there I was charged 100 $because I had to change cards

The staff and the breakfast was great. Will stay there again.

The room was very clean and the staff was super friendly! When you walked in they were super friendly and promptly greeted you with a smile!

The first room we were assigned to, the toilet didn’t work! The second room we were assigned to, it was very hot even with the air on the coldest setting. No face towels in the bathroom, glad I knew to bring my own due to that reason!

There could be a bench outside. My husband with Parkinson’s got tired walking from our parking spot. On chair outside or in front lobby. When you are exhausted even 40 extra steps is hard.

The staff were so friendly and helpful! We also loved the small pantry area for purchase of snacks, the best fresh chicken Caesar salad ever, and fresh desserts. The rooms are huge and the kitchenette so handy. We will stay here again!

This hotel was....interesting. It's in the middle of downtown Birmingham, so parking requires a hotel tag which is fine. I found it odd though that in this huge open space in the lobby, they had a fake beach scene set up, with blow up toys/hammock/etc but it was all just for looks? Just a really odd use of that space. Check in attendant was really rude but we had kind of come to expect that from B'ham residents based on our trip so far. Room was meh, okay. Not special but good enough. Saltwater pool was nice though the gate access doesn't even work when you use your card. Okay stay but I don't think we'd stay here again.

The blackout curtain is a good idea, especially with a bright streetlight directly outside the window, but the room layout makes it difficult. Unless the curtain is completely closed, that streetlight shines directly at eye level from the bed. Even a couple strips of dark window tint along the bottom portion of the window would probably solve the problem without having to redesign the room. A bottom-up blackout shade, lowering the bed, or rearranging the room could also work. For a hotel, comfortable pillows and the ability to actually make the room dark enough to sleep should be pretty basic.
