Courtyard by Marriott Birmingham Downtown at UAB

Very good

It was very clean I liked that and the rooms were very nice what I disliked was having to pay for breakfast should be included in price you pay to stay there

It was right at the hospital The price is too expensive. One night is too much and the people are already in a bad position, so to pay that for one night is insane.

Very courteous staff. Food was good in restaurant on site with good service.

NA Microwave in the room

Exceptional

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked great. The staff was helpful and very friendly.

The room was set up nicely and clean but the tub felt gritty. The tub was also made funny and my mom fell because it’s made at a slant which made it slick. This is what made her fall. She now has a black eye because she hit her face on the grab bar. Oh and I believe the TV in the room is getting ready to go out. Part of the screen is darker than the other. The color was really off. For example, the show we watched, one of the characters had on red glasses. Well you couldn’t tell they were red. Everything was was nice.

The staff were all so kind and helpful. We requested and early check in and they were wonderful about it. They let us in at 12 which was so nice since it gave us time to rest during a VERY stressful time. The room was lovely and clean and the beds were so comfortable!

Very good

Good

It was close to the hospital. Coffee was bad..was told there was a restaurant in the motel. It was only a little c9ffee shop.

Exceptional

The mattresses could have been firmer. Be sure to allow extra time to retrieve your car from the garage if your have an appointment.

Location We had bugs in our bed that kept us from sleeping. They weren’t bedbugs but I couldn’t identify them. They were in the carpet as well.

Avoid rooms on the hospital side due to anbulance noise.

Very convenient lodging next to UAB medical facilities. Parking available (must pay). Many restaurants within a short Uber ride

We had a great experience & will book again.

Very inviting staff, great with kids.

The beds are extremely comfortable and soft, but not too soft. It was perfect after a looooong day of travel. The “weee wooo, weee wooo” of the ambulances were a little loud since my room was facing UAB.
