Dinner choices limited. Quality and quantity were good.

As a larger guy the bathrooms are tiny. My head was completely above the shower head. The bathrooms also show significant wear and tear. Otherwise the property is fine but does not feel renovated like advertised.

Breakfast was not included in the room rate. It cost $12 per person. We had breakfast on the road.

It was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Our rooms AC was set to 63F, so really cold when we got in. The shower took quite a long time to get warm, over 10 minutes.

The location and the staff were nice despite a long list of issues. The maid services kept forgetting us and to get out towels. For 5 days.

Was a little disappointed in this facility. At face value, it looks nice, however its an old building that had a two coat overhaul. After the first night, our key cards stopped working. We went to the front desk and an associate insinuated that we exposed our cards to some sort of magnetic field wiping out the access which was complete bs. A second associate indicated they has us down for one night and not 3. Room service never did visit, had to go retrieve clean towels and bathroom tissue ourselves. If your room faces the road, be prepared to be awakened at night by loud vehicles. Paper thin walls. The elevators in this building are very slow and outdated. One of them needs service desperately. Loved the town of Beckley, would not stay here again.

Bathroom caulk around the sink and shower were dirty and moldy. TV picture was terrible. There was a light-blocking blind but no curtain on the window to get some privacy while still allowing some light in. Very low water pressure at the bathroom sink but the shower was okay.

Somehow our King Suite that we reserved/paid for was unavailable when we arrived. The front desk clerk was apologetic and offered us a free breakfast to make up for the issue. They took care of the situation and we were happy with the room switch and enjoyed the breakfast. We were happy with our stay and the hotel.
