The breakfast was good the first morning but not as much the second morning

Breakfast was good with a varied amount of choices. Cooked food was fresh. Muffins were delicious! The bus service to and from the hotel was awesome!

the view it smelled so old and musty i couldn’t even sleep. the beds were very uncomfortable.

Homemade cookies made a difference. Cider a good idea but should be hot.

Nice location, not very friendly staff

The view of the ocean islands were amazing! The rooms were clean and very well put together. We enjoyed our stay the breakfast was good and the pool is nice! As far as close to town its right out of walking distance for use but they do offer shuttle service to town so you don't have to pay for parking which is awesome! Overall hotel is good would recommend staying very clean and put together.

Large room, beautiful view, good staff The resort and rooms needed updating . For the money we paid I expected a more luxurious resort. Bedding, fixtures, bathroom were old and cheap. Breakfast was terrible. We had to take a shuttle to town or drive somewhere every time we wanted to eat, we couldn’t easily walk any where to eat. The room was very large but didn’t seem particularly inviting, especially for the price.

Good location. Close to downtown Bar Harbor and the entrance of Acadia National Park. Our room on 3rd floor has nice ocean view. Adequate breakfast. Room clean with comfortable bed.

The place was really clean and had a great location! The views were amazing and the breakfast was good. The Island Express Bus System was awesome. It made everything very convenient and easy to navigate. There is no house keeping. You have to ask for clean towels and take out your own trash. Not a serious problem but at this price point house keeping at least every other day would be good.

The view of Frenchman Bay from our room with balcony was outstanding. The breakfast was plentiful with the usual scrambled eggs and breakfast meats. Yogurt and cereals were available. Coffee was good. Muffins and bagels were plentiful. The laundry facility was a plus. Walking from the hotel to town is very easy but be ready to climb the hills. The hotel is on the Desert Island bus route, convenient to get to town or catch another connection to the rest of the island for day hikes or other activities. Lovely hotel with superb views. Free shuttle bus picks up from hotel so you don't have to drive to the town centre where parking is difficult. Shuttle links up with other routes so leave the car at the hotel and use the bus.

The view from our room was very nice. We appreciate that we were there during foliage season and room prices are higher generally. However, for the higher price, we had no house keeping and an inedible breakfast. Not worth the price.

Stay was top notch from moment we arrived. Clean property and great location.
