Sleep Inn & Suites Ankeny - Des Moines

Check in and out was easy, everything was clean. Staff was very friendly. The breakfast main items were not replenished around 9:15 and so I wasn’t able to get eggs. I was assuming the rooms next to each other would have a shared door, but we had to go out through the Galloway.

The towels were clean but VERY thin

Great overall experience! Excellent staff and breakfast.

Clean and appealing!

It was worth the cost

Staff was great hotel stay was amazing

Breakfast was great!

Superb

The breakfasrts were great! We found the room morte than we expected. The handicapped bathroom was excellent wit the rool-in walk-in shower and plenty of grab bars. Very nice for handicapped! Perhaps a reclining chair in the room. he cair supplied was adequate, althow I have to sleep in a recliner due to rib inuries complicated by a stroke. However, the room was very comfortable. And I was able to visit with a cousin I had not seen for over 40 years!

Superb

Breakfast

Great staff but very close to I-35 so lots of traffic noise all night long

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and offered a refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker in the room. The breakfast was nice and they kept the area clean. The pool was a good temperature. It’s located in a good area with restaurants and shops. We will stay here again.

Stayed for the night as daughter was having an ISU/Iowa watch party at her house. Megan at the front desk was AMAZING! She is a genuine asset for your hotel!! Such fun to chat while making the check-in process a breeze!! Thank you so much, Megan! Hope to see you the next time we head that direction! 😊

Superb

Greeting staff was wonderful. My room (307) had a musty smell when I arrived although it appeared exceptionally clean! In the night I realized the carpet in front of the mini fridge was damp and reported to the front desk that it could potentially be creating the smell. One of the best breakfasts I've had had a hotel in a long time! would stay again

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Water pressure was sub par. The furniture besides the bed was uncomfortable.

Superb

Clean room, breakfast was great. The only what bothered me was the stain on the bedspread. I understand they wash them but shouldn't put them back if they are still stained.

Staff was great. The air conditioning in the room was set at 62 degrees, so when we walked in at 9pm, it was uncomfortably cold. The towels were so worn you could see through them in some places. The towel hook in our room was broken. The bed was very comfortable. Overall not horrible but I would not stay here again.
