My Place Hotel - Ankeny/ Des Moines, IA

Good, clean room with helpful staff.

Convenient Staff and operations. Very disorganized check in. Did not have correct room. Other guests did not have a room staff suggested we try other facilities in the area or take 1 bed with 3 guests. No offer to discount room or provide a cot.

I have no complaints. Clean, quiet and had everything I needed.

Very comfortable room. Will stay again thank you

Our room was comfortable and clean. We would recommend flooring in the rooms instead of carpet. Flooring could be mopped each day. I have allergies and carpet traps allergens.

When we entered the room for the first time, there was a wet face towel on the bathroom sink and the floor mat for the shower was soaking wet. We were tired from our travels, so we did not call the front desk to complain. The beds were comfortable and we liked having a freezer that was large enough to refreeze our ice packs overnight.

Clean room with a mini kitchen. Great value.

Staff was great The General Manager was superior and the cleaning staff attitude. Rooms old had ants, fridge didn't work properly there were many issues with are room.

Close to home

We stopped last minute and it was a great place to stay

The location was pretty good, safe, and readily accessible from the freeway. I was there for the Iowa State fair. The price was really good compared to hotels that were close to the fair. The hotels within a few blocks of the fair cost about three times more. The hotel is within walking distance of a lot of restaurants and shopping centers. The only negative thing I would probably say is that they did not have enough ice cream in the freezer. Also, there’s no kitchenware or utensils. They also advertised a breakfast you could get in room service, but apparently, for some reason it was canceled and I don’t know if that was temporarily or if they just canceled it altogether. I would still recommend this hotel for people that are traveling.

Everything was cleaned and organized

The location only The whole hotel smells so bad like old food and just dirty. Carpet is filthy and like I said the smell of food is atrocious. I guess that’s what it’s like in an extended stay motel. Also the bathtub never drained and nobody cleaned the room or changed garbage/ fresh towels for 7 days! Gross. Never again

Very nice place to stay
