Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas North - Addison by IHG

Beds are terrible

I stay here everytime I'm in Dallas. Friendly staff and clean rooms what more can you ask for!!

Will be staying here again next time I’m in the area. Loved my room and the location of this hotel!

So clean and well maintained. No complaints.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, friendly staff.

After driving about 5 hours, we checked in and went out for dinner. We returned around 11 PM, but our room keys would not work. We went back to the front desk and tried new key cards three times before the employee finally came upstairs to check the door. It turned out the problem was not the cards—the door lock battery was dead. The front desk employee said she had never changed the battery and had to call a coworker for instructions. After nearly an hour, the hotel still couldn’t solve the problem. In the end, my friend figured out how to temporarily power the lock so we could enter the room after midnight. Equipment can fail, but a hotel should have trained staff and procedures to handle something as basic as a dead door-lock battery, especially on a weekend. Even more disappointing, there was no meaningful effort afterward to compensate us or make things right. As an IHG member, I expected much better maintenance and customer service.

The first room we were assigned…after waiting an UNUSUALLY long time to check in, we received our key cards. The key card opened into an ALREADY OCCUPIED room. Thank god nobody was there. It was very late. Just all of their luggage and stuff. I went back down to the front desk and she fixed it and got me another room ONLY IT TOOK LONGER TO GET THE SECOND ROOM THAN IT TOOK TO GET THE FIRST ONE. When I entered the new room, it smelled like it hadn’t been opened or aired out in ages and the chair smelled like wet dog. The bed was lumpy.

I was just there for one night. Great stay though

The overall stay was good. Check in was easy and front desk staff were friendly. The room was clean. Other than the air quality in the room, everything was good!
