Bike rentals on-site. Plenty of lounging space on the porches, the lobby and the back sitting bench. Best feature for me was the wood floors in the room. I will never understand why hotels still have carpets especially in rooms...but I digress. The room that I was given with my Expedia Bundle was an OK room, but NOT the best. It was on their highest floor ( 3rd floor). However, it didn't have the mini-fridge that is now standard in any basic property. There wasn't an iron or ironing board. Water bottles were $4... when 24 cost $6-8) Bottle water should be"free" or just hidden in the room cost esp. when there are no refill stations on the property. Be aware, there is no water in the gym either. There was a Keurig coffee machine in the room, but other rooms had Nespresso machines. Only 2 rooms have balconies. The staff that I encountered were not necessarily friendly. They were polite and professional. BUT Max at restaurant and another gentleman ( didn't catch his name: 30 yrs Airforce Vet, Graveyard shift ) were welcoming, kind, and very helpful. STAY HERE if you are visiting YS! Just get a better room! BEST SPOT...BAR NONE! I'LL BE BACK‼️🙏

Super cute hotel. Great location. Lovely rooms. Be aware or very loud traffic! Request a room that is off the Main Street. There is a lot of traffic. The restaurant had an amazing breakfast. Overall highly recommend.

Beautiful facilities as usual! We love staying at this hotel when we are in Yellow Springs. The decor is lovely and the rooms are exceptionally clean.

The front porch, the staff hospitality, overall look and feel of the hotel. The beds were a little more firm than I would choose, but were clean

Upon arrival we were assigned our room, when we went up to the room and opened the door, another couple was in the room. The front desk had double-assigned the room. Since I paid for a king suite and the folks in 'our' room paid for a double queen, we didnt want to just swap because it would not have been an even one. The hotel originally brought that up as a possibility which I felt should not have even been brought up. It was rather uncomfortable feeling like we were kicking this couple out of a room even though it was neither of our fault. In addition when my wife opened the door, the gentleman was laying on the bed watching tv and his wife was in the bathroom. Walking in on a couple in a hotel room had the potential to be a lot more embarrassing. We had to find something to do while they cleaned the room again. I think the staff could have been a bit more gracious with the error. For instance, I would think they would have offered to bring our luggage up to the room once it was finished being clean, but they did not. They did give us a complimentary breakfast for the mistake and that was appreciated. I'm not one to complain, but I this place isn't a Hampton Inn, it was a fairly pricey stay and I would expect a little better treatment of guests, treatment that reflects the cost, especially when a mistake is made.
