Hotel Lombardy

Beautiful hotel, the room was large and clean. We had a great stay! Was difficult a bit with the big lamps, couldn't find how to turn them on.

The room we chose was so spacious and comfortable, it felt like a complete apartment! We really felt like we were in our home away from home. Everything we wanted to do was within walking distance, and since the weather cooperated, we took full advantage! Will come back again! And everyone at the hotel was so helpful and friendly, always ready with an offer to help and a smile!

Room was great and included everything I could need (one exception - full length mirror!!). Great service from front desk. All parking is valet. Bed was lush and very comfortable. Did notice that the carpet is coming up on the front stairs to the lobby - made it difficult to bring luggage up to check in (and did notice another guest trip). Doors are old and a little tricky to lock. AC/fan was great. Plenty of towels, complimentary water bottles. Otherwise great stay!

The location was awesome. Just a few minutes from the Foggy Bottom Metro and the Western markets right across the streets with many food option. Loved the histrionic vibe of the hotel . We were pleasantly surprised to have a coffee maker in our room for I had inquired beforehand and was told no coffee makers in the room . We also had a small refrigerator.

Location, cleanliness and size of suite.

Did the WiFi work…. Nope… bathroom was immaculate but the drain didn’t empty at a steady pace… curtains have been there since Grant was president…

The bus stop is located less than a block away, and was very convenient for getting into the Smithsonian area on bus 10. It is simple to use and inexpensive at $2.25 per trip, paid with a credit card using Tap-to-Pay. Couldn’t have been easier.

Super nice staff; excellent location

A wonderful older/historic/charming property that is kept way up to highest standards. Lovely. Modern conveniences in a historic setting with top notch ammenities and super staff. The location in the GWU /Foggy Bottom area is most convenient. Stayed three nights and walked to my meetings (White House only blocks away). Had Breakfast and a lunch there and they were superb also! My fear of rating the Hotel Lombardy so high is that it will become so popular I cant get reservations on my next stay. A+

Vintage property. Excellent location. Loved the history behind the building. Linens and beds are extremely comfortable.

AC was very noisy

In the heart of DC perfectly positioned for tourism. The staff was the star, each one smiling, pleasant, friendly, and welcoming. Helpful.. Great character in its boutique grandness but not too big or boastful. Construction across the street was noisy sometimes
