Nothing Disgusting and disappointing. I am very disappointed and very upset with my stay. I booked for Friday the 18th and Saturday the 19th on booking.com. I called in on Wednesday the 16th and the guy on the phone gave me the specific number for the Waco location 254-399-8836 and I called and spoke with a guy specifically asking him if I could do a late check out Saturday and he told me yes to let them know at check in. I even stated my plans and asked again about late check out being 5 pm. He said that is fine it’s $11 per hour after 12pm and with tax that will be $14-$15 and hour. I then changed my booking to specifically be 1 night with late checkout. I checked in Friday and even asked yet again about a late check out for Saturday. He told me he was putting it in the notes and I told him 4 pm late checkout out. I went down for breakfast after not sleeping very well as the room wasn’t very clean and asked the lady at the front (Aletha) to make sure I had the late check out. She told me no I cannot do that as they only had 2 cleaners and that was never allowed to happen. I told her I spoke to someone over the phone days ago and even last night and they said it was ok. I specifically changed my booking because of what I was told. She told me no they shouldn’t have said that and I needed to be out by 12 at the latest. I told her I couldn’t do that and she told me they were booked up i cannot stay she said she was going to call the night clerk and tell him that wasn’t allowed.she wasn’t rude but now I’m being kicked out and had to scramble to find another hotel before I was to go to my meeting and I had to pay $130 on top of the $100 I spent on this hotel. And when I was packing up my stuff I saw 2 roaches!! The room was dirty and the hall way was even dirtier with stains all over the carpet and the smell was foul. The door was propped open on the side with a rock so people can just come and go and trash was all over outside. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.

One staff member was nice when I called to speak with the manager. It was not clean at all. Blood stain sheets and mattress. Urine stains on floor and toilet. Tub had rust and hair still in it. Desk had food stains. Clearly was not cleaned. But some staff thought it was acceptable. Don't stay there. I ended up not staying there. Still trying to get a refund! Don't stay there. Health code violation hotel!

Gigi was great and welcoming. She ensured we were sorted due to miscommunication on the room. The room had food and drinks previously and the bathroom tub was peeling badly.
-
Honestly the staff, her name was GiGi! She was so sweet other than that it was the worst experience. Everything.

The front desk agent was nice. The location was convenient to the mall and restaurants. The flooring in the room wasn’t carpet. The building construction was old, the bed was full size instead queen sized. There were bugs in the room and the appliances were very small.

I personally would NOT stay here again. When I got into the room there was visible food residue on the counter and dirt in the sink from someone washing their hands.. the sheets on the bed appeared clean and no signs of bed beds so I stayed snice I would be there for 12 hr, although the bed wasn’t comfy at all. the microwave was broken and there was trash left under the sink from previous guest( which further confirmed to me that room wasn’t throughly cleaned) there was no tissue either when I checked in so I had to request from the front staff( the staff wasn’t rude so that’s a plus) the air did get super cold and the water for a shower was hot so that was nice. The place just looks old and dated on the inside and smells kinda gross. For some it would be perfect, for me it just didn’t do it and I felt uncomfortable.

Mattress was disgusting

Gigi was a great front desk worker!

Breakfast was subpar, bring back continental breakfast and ditch grab and go. Staff was super friendly. Toilet was stuck, had to jiggle handle. No chair for workdesk.

Nothing! Call me and I’ll tell you all about it!

Location was convenient for local attractions We called the property hours before arrival to notify them of a late arrival (between Midnight and 1:00 AM). The staff member on duty assured us everything was taken care of and we needed to do nothing more. However, upon arrival at 12:45 AM, we found our original reservation had been canceled during the night audit. Trying to resolve it at the desk was a nightmare: the agent attempted to rebook us for the wrong number of nights at a rate $100 higher than Booking.com, and tried to charge a $140 early check-in fee for a 1:00 AM check-in on a room we had already tried to reserve for that night. Staff communication is completely uncoordinated across shifts. After another staff member assured us a late checkout wouldn't be a problem, the morning agent ("Aletha") refused to honor it or work with us, speaking to us with outright hostility. The total lack of professionalism and phantom policies ruin what should be a simple stay. Save yourself the headache and book elsewhere.

The hotel is conveniently located near the highway and several restaurants, which made getting around very easy. The only downside was the condition of my room. The bathtub floor was peeling and coming off, and there were some issues with the bathtub ceiling that definitely needs some attention. Despite these issues, the excellent staff, convenient location, and easy access to restaurants made my overall stay a good experience. I would consider staying here again and hope the room conditions are improved in the future.

All good as what you’d expect from a Fairfield Inn by Marriott
