Very good

The front desk attendant was very friendly and we really enjoyed chatting with her! This place is very close to the road. In our room there were dead bugs in the window tracks.
-
Dirty and dated, I would discourage anyone from staying here.

Don't feel the price matched the amenities. There at least could've been a microwave in the room. We were having meals in our room as we traveled and it was not convenient to go to lobby to use the one there. No hairdryer or coffee maker in room either. No breakfast. We didn't use the pool or hot tubs so can't comment on those but otherwise we felt the place was dated. We traveled for 3 weeks and this was our least favorite but highest priced place we stayed. I assume comparison to the cost of staying at the famous lodge in Stowe justifies the cost.

I had been looking forward to a morning swim, but the pool did not open until 10:00 and checkout is at 11:00. Plus, we needed to leave by 10. It would have been great for it to be open earlier.

The staff couldn’t be nice but the place is old and in need of updates. Our room rug was dirty and dead bugs in the lights over the sink. Plus it’s not very sound proof. They need to warn or not use the room above the front door. It was so noisy with cars and people coming and going. I expected more. The rooms are not cheap. I did not get what I paid for. They didn’t even have Kleenex in the room either.

Nice place outdated but nice. If i went snow skiing i would stay there again.
-
Definitely an outdated place, but comfortable and clean.

The front desk person was customer-oriented and extremely helpful. She provided insight into local food establishments and obtained an additional set of towels for us. The facility's cleanliness was average. The facility was quite dated. Areas of wallpaper in our room were loose or had been poorly patched. The tub/shower was older and challenging to use. The small television was okay. However, the beds were acceptable.
-
No breakfast, no hair dryer, TV is too small, the stuff is friendly.

Dog friendly! Everyone loved our little dog, everything is clean and nice, and it's a great location. Its pretty expensive. For 3 days plus 3 days of the dog cleaning fee, it was almost $1,000. They also have no breakfast, just a coffee machine with a suggestion donation of $1 per cup. For this much money there should be some form of complimentary breakfast, and definitely free coffee!

We arrived as a late check in, and the person at the desk was rude with his attempt at satire. Getting a luggage cart through the maze of hallways and corners was a challenge. The carpet needs to be replaced. The beds are great though and the coffee was hot in the lobby in the morning, we were just passing through.

The Commadores Inn shows its age, but it is clean and the staff are great! The area by the pond is beautiful and the indoor pool most helpful for me.

Comfortable beds. Clean room Coffee brewed 24/7 and the desk always has staff. Super helpful and kind. Great spot for the price. Recommend highly

Very friendly gentleman at check in very helpful. Woman at check out very kind also.

Cons: There was no hair dryer in the room, no kleenex, no lotion, no shower gel and no indication by the front desk or any info in the room where the ice machine was. The light in the shower/toilet area was very dim and unsafe when the shower curtain was drawn. The front desk person would not give me a receipt when I checked out saying that since I booked with Expedia, they are to give me one ( Expedia's policy said one would be given at check out). There was no breakfast offered but that was clearly stated when I made the reservation.

This is a very comfortable and quiet hotel just outside downtown Stowe. The manager is very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The breakfast nook was a convenient place to enjoy the breakfast we brought with us, and had good coffee. Rooms are a little worn around the edges. Our sink had cracks in in the surfece it, though it functioned well.
