Fairfield Inn & Suites Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport

Checked in, got to room and it was hotter than hell. Turned on AC and it would not work. Then upon further inspection the AC vents were covered in black mold. The roof was cracking and this hotel is showing its age! When I booked I assumed a Fairfield by the airport should be a very good option and we wouldn’t have any issues. Since we booked through Expedia they wouldn’t refund us and now it’s turned into a whole ordeal. I’m just warning people I wouldn’t stay here and if you do check for mold.

Breakfast was good one day but felt like leftovers the next day

Staff was very kind and helpful very friendly my family and I had a blast were there 8 days and it was awesome

They serve a terrific breakfast! One suggestion to make breakfast more pleasant in the morning would be to eliminate the use of hard rock or other loud music that is an assault to the ears in the morning! We have noticed this during both of our recent stays. The staff is super friendly and welcoming!

The room was absolutely spotless when we arrived, the bed was very comfy, the bathroom gleamed and smelled incredibly fresh. The complimentary breakfast was a massive highlight! There was huge spread of hot eggs, you can make your own fresh waffles. There was a variety of pastries and delicious fruit.

We arrived after midnight and check in was super fast. The gentleman that checked us in was very polite and friendly. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We didn't take advantage of breakfast as we had an early morning flight. I would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

The room was disgusting, I dropped my phone and noticed under the bed there was a random sock, pop bottles.l, trash and hadn't been swept nor the counters been wiped. Would not ever stay again.

Updated and very nice. Good size room, clean, comfortable. Very helpful staff, lots of parking available.

We stayed for 3 nights (5 adults, 3 kids, 2 rooms) and the experience was great. We only used our stay for sleeping at night and breakfast so we didn't use the pool. The breakfast spread was really nice, much better that your typical continental breakfast. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. All staff, from the front desk to the cleaning staff, were friendly and nice.

Shuttle driver was great. Came back to the airport late to pick me up even though it was past their operating hours. Excellent staff and hotel.

It was a great price for how close we were to the airport and how clean and updated everything was. My only complaint is that the hot tub water was low and hadn't been changed in a while.
