21C Museum Hotel St Louis

Room was clean amenities were okay but the tub shower head and tap were not functioning properly. I was not able to turn it to tap fromshower head.

Room clean. Staff friendly.

We loved the whole experience We got there late so a lot of the stuff was closed and we didn't get to use or see because checkout is so early

Overall, lovely stay and great staff. Beautiful hotel. Please check the tightness of the safety handrails in the shower in room 1012. they were loose.

Fun hotel. Nice restaurant. I did not use the pool. Good location. Front desk pleasant and helpful.

The staff was wonderful

Such a cool and trendy boutique hotel with all the amenities. Beautiful building. Paid parking around d the corner. 20 minutes walk to the Gateway Arch. So nice to get back to the hotel in the evening, have a few drinks at the bar and finish the evening with a visit to the pool area with hot tub, sauna, and steam room as well as the lap pool. Staff were incredible, so friendly and knowledgeable. Kristos and all the other bartenders were super friendly and made us some great cocktails. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would stay again if we were back in the area.

Room was clean, staff were helpful, Art was really neat. Also one of the nicest hotel gyms I’ve ever experienced. Very large pool and hot plus other spa accommodations. Overall really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely go back.

A bit off the beating path, but well worth the walk or ride there. Unfortunately I was only there for a day, so missed out on many of the amenities. But will definitely book here again and take advantage of all they have to offer. P.S. The room are well kept, roomy, and comfortable.

21C Museum St Louis is my favorite hotel. It is so vibrant. I love to swim and that YMCA pool built in the 1920s is gorgeous with hot tub and sauna. You get great coffee in the room, not the typical swill. The museum exhibits are thoughtfully curated and edgy. And they are featured in the old YMCA basketball court! Our room was lovely—the whole place is. This hotel is a destination for locals, it’s the place to be. Idol Wolf is the first outstanding restaurant experience I’ve had in a hotel.

My friends and I had 2 rooms for a girls concert night. upon arrival 1 of the rooms was real hot, they let the front desk know before we left for the evening. When we got back after the concert the room was still hot. They called again and were told nobody entered the room because they were not there. Then were told that it was not a quick fix and there were no other rooms to switch them to. It sounded like they already knew the ax was broke. They could have gone to another hotel, but they didn’t have a car and it was late, they did adjust 1/2 off. They did sleep, but not well because it took a long time as it was really hot. The rest of the hotel was lovely as was the rest of the staff. Disappointed about the one room.

Wonderful experience, very unique and so close to so much!

The property it itself is beautiful and the staff was incredibly helpful from the Valet to housekeeping and front desk but it’s clear they have some operational issues that are impacting the timelines of housekeeping and the overall cleanliness of the guest room end public areas. Good property with a ton of potential just needs better management.

The location can be convenient if you are visiting the Gateway Arch or attending an event downtown, and for us it worked well because we could walk to the AC/DC concert. Otherwise, there is not much happening immediately around the hotel, and the area did not feel nearly as welcoming or comfortable as other parts of St. Louis. If location had not been so important for this trip, we likely would have changed hotels after the first night and stayed closer to the Kingside Diner/Central West End area, which felt much more lively, cozy, and comfortable for walking around. The biggest disappointment was the lack of attention to detail and maintenance. The AC filter in our room was extremely dirty and looked long overdue for replacement. There were also broken fixtures/supports and issues with the bathroom door. Those are the kinds of things I would not expect to encounter at a hotel positioning itself as a 4-star property. Service also lacked the warmth and attentiveness that normally distinguish a higher-end hotel experience. The bar has a fun concept, but the food felt overpriced for what was delivered. The complimentary bourbon shot is also a clever marketing idea, although calling what was served a “shot” was generous - it was closer to half of one.

Nice room, super cozy bed, and very close to a lot of things downtown. Restaurant was fine. TV streaming didn't work, no ice machines small complaints. Otherwise great stay and loved our choice.
