Hotel Belvoir Springfield

The hotel was very clean, staff was amazing and the bed was very comfortable!! We enjoyed our stay!

Breakfast was good but they need a better system than counting guest by room with receipts.

The staff seemed to be very nice and helpful. You can tell it is an aged hotel but managed well. The free buffet breakfast is good but be prepared to tip after consuming your breakfast. Our room was ok and the water pressure was amazing. The only downfall was our a/c unit started making a loud noise all night long on the second night. Its location is really good to some restaurants and shopping. Target is conveniently located across the street to grab some drinks and snacks for the room. I would stay here again if I came back to that area.

Everything was good overall. The bed linen and towels were perfectly clean. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The furniture is very old, and the air-conditioning system is outdated. There is no central climate control built into the ceiling—just a regular, quite noisy air-conditioning unit. There was also an unpleasant smell in the room.

Wonderful breakfast Staff was extremely helpful and nice. Beds were very comfortable. It was very quiet. Overall, it was a good experience. Dated and small bathroom, but no fault of the facility.

I had a wonderful stay! The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious. I was especially impressed with breakfast; it felt more like dining at a restaurant than having a typical hotel breakfast, with a great variety of choices. There was plenty of free parking. I will definitely make this my hotel of choice the next time I'm in the area!

Nothing on this stay. The total opposite of my previous visits which have been many over the past two years. Absolutely nothing worked. I went into my room and the air conditioning was going but the temperature in the room was 100 degrees. I had to haul my bag back downstairs to get another room. The staff was so disinterested in helping me I was shocked. He never gave me the WiFi password either. I had to ask for a bottle of water that they used to offer you. The second room was cool but the toilet didn’t work well. I had driven 420 miles and was exhausted and didn’t want a third room. The beds that used to be so comfortable are now not there. I must have got an older bed. I found out in the morning that the plugs were not working either. When I tried to charge my phone before I went to breakfast it wouldn’t work. That caused me to leave on a trip of driving another 420 miles with a phone less than half charged. I rely on that phone for my navigation. The breakfast was okay but the staff never brought me silverware or water. I selected my own silverware from the staff area myself. I was shocked as this used to be the best part of the stay. I still tipped the staff as my mother was a waitress. As I checked out I asked for a manager to let them know how disappointed I was with my stay. She came out with an attitude and refused to address the issue. This was Labor Day at 9:30am. I plugged my phone into a plug in the lobby and waited to get at least 50% charge. I witnessed the manager treat the African American customers completely the opposite way and that I had just experienced reverse discrimination. This hotel used to be my go to hotel in Springfield as I’m a businesswoman and travel frequently. This stay changed everything. I will never stay here again. You should know this before reserving a room here.
