Good location reasonably priced hotel

This is a great place to stay, if you just need the basics....quiet room, decent breakfast, modest amenities and a shower. It's nothing fancy, but it's fine....easy to use, and close to loved ones in the hospital district.

The parking was overly crowded with limited spaces. The front desk had limited customer service. Difficult to travel to and from the hotel during winter season due to the hills.

It was a bit unnerving walking across the front cat walk into the main lobby because it still had that hospital feel. But the staff that greeted us were very friendly and helpful and looking into the breakfast room it looked to clean and inviting so while our first impressions were uncertain, the staff and cleanliness improved them. We got to our room on the fourth floor and the room was clean, but looked like your standard hotel room one king bed, a desk and a chair; although I should comment that the chair was a full La-Z-Boy recliner, which was more comfortable than any other side chair I had been in in a hotel room. The only drawback was that the room still had that faint hospital smell. It struck me as odd that hospital that was recently transformed still had that unique odour that hospitals have. However, we opened the window and within a couple hours it was un noticeable One other drawback is that parking is quite difficult as the stalls are very small and both nights we were there the parking lot was in overflow and we had to park on the street. Breakfast in the morning was good. There was both hot and cold options and the breakfast room got lots of natural sunlight and had a nice fireplace. But once again, two smaller room for the amount of guests staying there. Breakfast was often overcrowded I’d still recommend for travellers on a budget.

Passable

The Madison Inn is our go-to hotel when visiting Spokane. It is well located in a nice part of town, the rooms are clean and well furnished, a bright and attractive breakfast room, a great bed, quiet heat pump, friendly staff, welcoming to pets, and they have free popcorn at check-in!

Biscuits and gravy for breakfast!

Very clean rooms, comfortable bed and got a great night of sleep very quiet, staff was very nice and courteous, very reasonable pricing and very clean throughout lobby area andfront desk area. Also, there was a great complimentary breakfast and easy parking.

Very clean, friendly staff. Parking was a bit difficult for truck with trailer.

Tammy was awesome and went way above and beyond her duties. The rest of the crew was great too. But she was outstanding!

Superb

Room and breakfast were decent. Motel description included a hot tub. Front staff said hot tub was available in their sister hotel 'down the hill ' but she didn't want to give us the address but expected us to know the location. We found out down the hill was several blocks away. After a long drive and from out of state, we were disappointed with both the info and the attitude.

Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms were clean friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Parking was very full. Staff made an effort to show us where to park as there is no flow. We would stay here again

We had a great overnight stay. The room was a good size and in good condition. Breakfast had a number of good choices. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. My only complaint would be that either the bed frame or the box spring was creaky.
